I agree with you to be honest. I think what HabboSecrets is doing won't make much effect but they do deserve to become official. Although, things like this could make Habbo even more less likely to accept you next time...

I personally don't think Sulake will listen or care that much about the blackout but I might be wrong. At the end of the day they can actually stop supporting any sort of fansite and force us all to remove any of their content. So it's up to them if they want to allow or block a specific fansite from becoming official. I don't know the full story behind the "ban" but there must be a reason somewhere.

- Don't have a radio
- Don't actively host in-client events

Tumblr sites are awful too yes, but I don't support them being official and I suspect powertoo has reasoning behind it.

I have never seen any events appear in the navigator though, fair dos if they actually do host them but their presence still isn't that strong as opposed to Habbox/HFFM/HCrazy/HFest now it seems :s

Tbf I genuinely understand where powertoo is coming from about the whole "cheat sheet" thing. Sulake have never really approved of it and that probably explains her reluctance, much like when the "answers" Habbo group got completely destroyed.

I think Vado is acting very childish. Although one thing I will say is that the 5 sites that have been put forward. None are spectacular and aren't as well used as Habbosecrets (and the current official sites). Vado is a self centred nasty piece of work. It's all about him. You can say "if you don't want it ruined, don't look" but the temptation when you're struggling is too high just to go on the site and see a one word answer for the prize, which is what I do.

If habbo made it official, people would be like "ooo I can check this for all the answers" and it would be more advertised and all the fun would be taken out of Habbo quests and games, which it kind of already is because everyone uses HS anyway and the majority of people just blitz through the quests because they are fed the answers.

There are too many other fansites people can turn to even they blackout. The only unique one that has had a black out is Habbosecrets which people will miss, but it could be replaced.

Agreed. People use the site not because they want to cheat, but because everyone else does. I would rather find the answers to quests without any help but I end up looking at HabboSecrets because everyone else does. Why should I complete the quests the legit way when everyone else takes a mere few seconds to look up a site that will give them the answer for free? I think many people are of this train of thought.

I think Powertoo is correct in denying this site official status. While the site does help the people struggling with quests, it also takes the fun and challenge out of them. Supporting this type of website only encourages the leaking of answers. While it's not possible to eliminate these sites, it IS possible for staff to ignore them and refuse them official status.

As I said several times, I consider HS a good and useful website, but that doesn't mean they should be official. They got famous because of the badges guides they do, not for the rest. If people read it it's because they want to get badges for doing nothing, so the excuse of "we have more than badge guides" doesn't count at all. They obviously know people who read it it's because of that, so they are just lying himselves.

If HS becomes official, the games created by Habbo will loose all the challange since everyone will be able to get all the badges easily for doing, technically, "nothing". Habbo obviously won't support that kind of fansites, even being something "new in Habbo", and I agree with them.

About ThisHabbo I don't know it. But if they were rejected it's for some reason. Starting to crying won't help.

This is starting to remind me of a similar situation in another part of the community relating to Habbo, people get greedy and spoil the fun for others.

There's no need for Vado to run around trying to own as many fansites as possible, soon as he joined Puhekupla the mood changed. He shouldn't be going around demanding to get an 'official status' it took Puhekupla ages to get around the Fansite Rules which disallowed early content, furniture and badges to be shown on an official fansite.

Other fansites haven't really compared to in terms of giving out answers/guides quickly have they? Now though, HabboSecrets continue to do something different with this 'blackout,' yet this time fansites begin to copy them? HabboSphere are official. I'm not a grass but I hope someone has a little whisper in Powertoo's ear so she removes them. Her way or the highway, that's the attitude she should take. All she has to do is read this thread to see that the general community does not support these flop sites.

It's really crappy that these sites are basically attacking Powertoo. She's doing her job, she doesn't have a personal vendetta against anyone. At least she's bothering to pay any attention to fansites - the last thing we want is for them to become obsolete again. Some sites get official, some don't, no good is going to come out of this "protest" so it'd be better if everyone just shut up and stopped whining. We don't want to piss off the one staff who's actually bothering to do anything with this community.

I think the challenge of becoming an official fansite is what made me open one years ago, I have been very tempted to start again and see if it can be done, but it used to be quite difficult to become official when they only did nominations once a year or so.

I just laugh whenever somebody goes crazy over habbo. It's a game, plus becoming an official fansite doesn't mean anything anymore with some of the fansites that they have been accepting.

I believe previously staff had said groups like Answers and Tips were a 'disruption of service' or something, since it spoiled answers and secrets, and was basically against The Habbo Way. Considering that's pretty much all that site offers, it isn't much of a surprise, tbh, that they aren't being granted official status.

Now if they did guides and tutorials and news updates rather than post answers on how to obtain ever badge, then that'd be different... Otherwise, they're pretty much making the effort the hotel staff go through in planning and creating these competitions irrelevant.

HabboSphere is owned by stupid people, they are such immature attention seeking little *****s. Proms thinks by doing this that powertoo will listen to her and pick who proms wants. But no, powertoo is not your friend... its her JOB. She couldn't give a **** about you. Powertoo will pick who she wants to pick. Just the same with the competitions winners and everything else she does.
