Okay maybe not ban it, But the song itself is WAY too over played for what it is.
Personally i find i really annoying and boring seeing as how many times it has actually been played, I Did like it when it first came out not going to lie, But people ruined the fun :P

I know some people find these songs annoying but you have to understand a few people likes these type of songs as it makes a change really. If you don't like that song then don't play it unless someone request it. Banning it because you think it is annoying or you are sick of the song ain't a valid reason to ban it. It doesn't have no swearing in it anyways.
If you call a real radio station and asked to ban it....do you think they will stop playing it? No they won't. They might stop it for a few days then poof playing it again lol
So no I do not want to see the song banned, i'm sorry!

No it shouldn't, however It should be played in moderation if it's being noticeably overplayed in a short time period.
People have different views on 'annoying stupid songs' - I think one direction has songs that are annoying or stupid but we can't just ban them.
There does need to be moderation on parody/pointless songs, but banning them is just another excuse for head djs to get on their high horses and caution people :p
I dont listen to habbox but I can imagine what the djs are like on it, parody songs shouldn't be played on a radio, its something you can probably play when it's new once or twice but after that I don't get it, maybe just tell your listeners about it if must

Shouldn't be overplayed, but shouldn't be banned. Music taste is a subjective thing and it's not fair to ban a song purely because a few people don't like it.
I don't like any of lana del ray's songs (minus born to die) yet I'm not campaigning for them to be banned.

Whats the point in banning it? Yeah sure its requested a lot, but that just proves listeners like the song. There should be a limit on how many times it is played i mean DJs know that they can't play the same song in every hour anyway and i don't see it being played too much? Most DJs refuse to play it anyway. So no, it won't be banned.

Lmao, some people in this thread are being rather mean to a new user, especially those in the same team as him. I didn't know Habbox still had that .
When I turn in to Habbox and say a song I don't like comes on, banning it doesn't occur to me, instead I will either tune out, mute my device until it's ended or just wait as it is only one song.

I wouldn't go as far as banning it but say I was a new listener and I tuned in to that song I probably wouldn't want to tune in again
hateee hatee hatee no
On a serious note...what's the point? I'd have a lot of songs banned just on the basis of them being annoying but others may like them?

Well things like this can happen sometimes and at the end we all change. It's normal that we don't get along with someone else and I am sure it's not just Hxl Department. We do end up in this situation but we get around it and work pretty well all together as a team.

I get that, but being rude to newer members is something I thought Habbox was trying to solve :P.

Well I understand your point of view but management can't always be on 24/7 to check on them ;) but ya it still happens.

I think Sam's point was that it shouldn't be happening.
Personally I wouldn't want to listen to that hideous song but some people might. No one can like every song played all the time.

OMG What a trash song, I'd close radio page if they put that kind of music
pretty sure its your job to play what we want.
Essentially banning a song for the reason of it being severely overplayed is fair does, and I was joking around about banning this song a few days ago because I don't know how this abomination made it to such fame in the first place. Yet, essentially, that was a joke and I wasn't going to add it to our banned list, which contains practically nothing, because we respect our broadcasters musical choices and freedom, as long as they stick to the rules and are clean.
However, in hindsight, the fact this song seems to be played on a never ending loop on every single bloody show, then I shall consider banning it temporarily for one or two days as a cool off sort of period. This is what may happen now, because we promote variety and it will just piss some people off if it's played hour in, hour out.

The song is an ear sore. I don't really class it as music.
I support your cause!
Yes but it shouldn't be that way. If DJs played a good variety of music then no one should/would notice the frequency of the song being played.

Songs that become viral should be only be allowed to be played on the radio 1 week max. since its release because it just gets boring and irritating then.

tbh, it's up to the DJ whether they want to play it or not.

We really have nothing against the song but yeah playing it every single slot is way too much, which we have told the DJs already that it is not to be played every single slot or we will deal with it and probably end up banning it for a few days or so. I mean there is a lot of demand for the song so i don't blame the DJs for playing it. But like i said its been dealt with now :).
most disgusting stupid song ive ever heard ban it from the world i say

erm no the so song should not be banned, only songs with actual reasons (explicit, etc) should be banned.
It's popular, overplayed - something that would be easy to combat if we had full song stats rather than last 10 songs played and stronger regulated song rules it'd be easier.
At my other radio station, you can't repeat a song in 4 hours (unless it's a top 10 playlist song, then it's once every 2 hours) and can't repeat an artist in 2 hours (inc. featuring). Seems like a well working rule there!!
Also
unless something's been deleted... I don't really see people getting a kick off autism?!
Also I love the song, as do a lot of other people, that's why it's played a lot 'cos people request it!

I'm sure Grig and James would love to have those sort of rules but its difficult for DJs to see the previous hours song history and stuff.
Any chance of getting our stats thing back? Skynus;

So, people allegedly make fun of you because you're autistic then you tell them to run off a cliff? Seems fair...
Anyway I don't believe it should be banned, I actually like it and like Laura said a lot of people do. Perhaps if radio stats can be fixed then definitely do what Laura said again!

The popularity of the song is on the decline, it shouldn't be too much of a problem for too long, lol. It should only be played no more than once a show or two anyway haha :)
