Hi again
There's a small amount of interest in rugby union on this forum so I though I'd just set up a small Autumn International thread with fixtures and results :D

Hopefully I can keep this updated, but if any mods could help out then that would be great, thanks! :)
England obviously played Australia last weekend and won (down to a bit of dodgy reffing, perhaps? :P) so the Home Nations have taken an early lead.
Which games will you be watching/going to and do you have any predictions? Thinking of this weekend, I'm going to bite the bullet and say England, Scotland, Australia, South Africa, Ireland and New Zealand to win.
I'm super excited because it is essentially a whole day of watching top class fixtures (and I'm able to go and see South Africa & Australia, gaaaaaaah!) :D
Your thoughts?
I probably won't be following this very much because I'm so busy with rehearsals. Every time there's a match over and if you want it updated just mention me with the score :)
Would really love to go to the matches in the Aviva but I'll be rehearsaing/on stage :'(

Excited. Was hoping to go see at least one Welsh game but my club run out of tickets :(

There's tickets still left! Just get them online :)
so glad there's actual rugby fans on here!
I went to see the England Australia game (and felt kinda awk considering being welsh!) but it was a great game and I really enjoyed it, Billy Vunipola though, damn he's good!
Gutted about Eli Walker being injured AGAIN - i've been desperate to see him start for wales for a good year and a bit now. Wales vs South africa is going to be an epic game I think, shame I have plans at the same time its on, i'll probably watch it in the early hours of the morning :P
edit:
does anyone have a list of where one can watch all the games, I don't have sky anymore but I can get access to it, BT sport is shown across the road at the pub.

I watched that game in a London pub, yeah not the best :D
Do you want a *legal* link for completely *legal* streams?

Josh Lewsey was serving guinness at one of the bars outside twickenham haha, unfortunately me and my friend didn't find this out until we were on the train home! :(

NZ 26 - France 19
Too close for comfort!!! France played great and we didn't have much to answer with. Makes me worry for a repeat of last year against england :S
Updated for you guys!
Unfortunately I didn't get to watch any of the games today. Caught the first ten minutes of the Ireland match and I thought they played fairly scrappy which apparantly didn't change in the rest of the match.
Welsh game was pretty disappointing. Whole team was making silly mistakes. Definitely needs sorting out by next week otherwise I can't even see us even beating Argentina..
Hibbard had a great game fair play to him. Shame Jon Davies got injured early, the time he actually played he was insane. Said as soon as he went off that that's the game over, and was pretty much right!

Well that was rather tragic. Half our team injured AGAIN. Jon Davies now out for the entire series. To top it off we lose to SA through stupid mistakes and no sign of clinical finishing.

I wouldn't worry about England tbh :P France showed they had something to prove and I'm sure they don't want a repeat of the Six Nations.

Which game? I'm welsh haha.
If you're talking about England, then I agree. I think NZ will give England a bit of a reality shock..
I think Wales will win but I can't judge by how much, we're so awful against Southern Hemisphere and with injuries..

Someone on the Reddit Rugbyunion subreddit predicted Wales would win 40-6. Jesus.
What a good day of rugby!
Agreed, awesome day!
Welsh win and English loss
hi5 for an awesome welsh game!
england played v well, dont understand why they always play so well against nz
Samson Lee had his first cap today too which was good. Went through school with him and was drinking with his brother in the pub earlier ha
he played ok for the while he was on to be fair to him. i was v happy with how rhodri jones played, i thought he was fab. cory allen was impressive as well. i still don't like or rate liam williams and i rly wish eli walker was fit so he could have played, i think the two breaks liam williams did get, which is fair enough to him, eli walker would have finished with his pure speed rather than have to look for a pace like liam williams.

Hibbard played insane again, some of the tackles he was putting in where awesome!
I actually much prefer Liam Williams to Eli Walker. Probably a bit bias from a Scarlet supporter though. He looks so skinny and tall but has incredible core strength, some players he can break through just amazes you!
George North seems to be back into his game too. Was popping up much more compared to last weekend which is good
Didn't watch the welsh game but obviously they smashed Argentina. I was talking about the English game yeh, did me proud at a 8 point loss - NZ deserved to win. Didn't watch the Ireland game either, not a great result for them esp after Austrailia's recent form!

All of our centres are now injured: Allen and Williams injured in the last game. Bummer.

Scott Williams will be fit and Ashley Beck is still uninjured. George North can also play centre but that's not much use when we're also lacking wingers.

I'm pretty sure he's been ruled out. And I don't like North at centre, I don't think it went down too well on the Lions tour.
If worse comes to worse we still have the mighty Henson to call up.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-union/24975390 - For the Scott Williams thing, he should be fit.
Personally I LOVE North at centre and tbh that's where he'll end up playing, once Roberts declines a little more North will end up taking his place with Eli/Liam starting on the wing with Cuthbert. I thought he was quite good at centre for lions to be fair, a little out of place but it's quite a hard place to learn :P
Updated the scoreboard guys.
Shocking result for Scotland even though though had 65-70% of the possession in the second half.

I thought Scotland were going to do much better than that. Never expected Scotland to win, but I was expecting a few good moments of dangerous play and plenty of points on the board.

Sadly I think you're right. North to me just seems unable at centre right now and I'm not quite sure why. I hope he doesn't play against Tonga as I don't want to see him injured but I'm not sure who'd replace him.

They did well in the second, just fumbled it when it came down to the crucial parts.

Yeah I was expecting at least a score, but South Africa just didn't concede penalties in kicking distance. Maybe if Scotland had decided to have a decent lineout once in a while then we may have seen one or two tries.
One of my mates has been called up to the bench for the Tonga game. Keep an eye out for Jordan Williams he has so much potential is unreal. You may have seen him playing in the U21 World Cup earlier this year and was insane. Sean Fitzpatrick (NZ Captain) compared him to Shane Williams and said he has potential to become best winger in the world :P

I think my heart nearly stopped working during that Ireland game. One of the best games of the year for sure.

Your heart nearly stopped?! I am actually heart broken! That was so intense I really thought we had it!! Last time we were so close to beating them, we drew 22-22 and it was so close to happening again. Conor Murray and Rob Kearney played so well! I can't spell his name but the No. 11 for New Zealand is actually UNREAL! Sucks that O' Driscoll came off even though he wasn't doing a lot. I feel he would have been better in defence than who replaced him.
What a great game though, so sickened we lost but jesus christ I am so proud of that team. Seriously amazing.
Nobody to blame but Ireland though let's be fair. Threw that game away simply.
From a young amateur age your taught to keep the ball towards to end of a game if your winning and run the clock, it's even more common sense if your playing a team like NZ where you can't make any mistakes.
The charging without the kicker moving is also a stupid one. Again, your taught that you can't move until the kicker moves at an extremely young age.
I felt that I was watching a secondary school rugby team for the last 4 minutes it was unbelievable.

Re: Wales vs Australia.
Went down there, atmosphere was kicking, just a shame about the result.
Thought we played well, but the Aussies were excellent. Cooper was stand out.
One more thing: I still hate Priestland.
Australia had to find world class form against us of all people :(. Quade Cooper was absolutely incredible, I wish we had a fly half like him, or with his skill set, then our back line would be one of the worlds best.
Australias winning try shouldn't have been a try in my opinion, ball went forward. Saying that though, they were incredibly unlucky not to score on other occasions.
Wales were missing our starting 12 and 13 which I think could have made a big difference. Personally I think if it had been JD and North in the centres with Eli Walker on the wing then we would have won. Obviously they're injured so that couldn't happen.
Still think Wales have potential to be a world class side and continue to dominate Northern Hemisphere.

Cooper is back to his 2010 ways. That is a bad thing for everyone except Australia.
A forward pass is one where the hands go forward (not the ball), so the try should have stood. Australia had the game to lose but I thought we played very well indeed!
Australia are getting worse? :(
Not at all, they are getting better (look at the England game).
