Warning: The following video contains graphic footage

A teenager girl who kicked and spat at an 80-year-old Sikh man has pleaded guilty to actual bodily harm.

Coral Millerchip’s unprovoked attack was captured on a mobile phone and later uploaded to YouTube.

The 19-year-old began to kick Joginder Singh in the groin. The elderly man, who has dementia, tried to defend himself and attempted to kick her back. He is then confronted by another young person on crutches.

Millerchip then knocked Mr Singh to the ground, causing his turban to fall off. In a final act of violence, she spits in his face before walking off.

Defending, David Murray told Warwick crown court: ‘This is a matter which was partially captured on a mobile phone and which was uploaded onto YouTube, receiving publicity nationally.’

Singh’s daughter-in-law told Mail Online: ‘He has not been the same, he is nervous and won’t leave the house.

‘He is scared of people coming up to him now, he is uncommunicative. It is unbelievable, I was dumbfounded when I saw the attack. To do this to an 80-year-old man is beyond comprehension.

The attack happened on August 10 in Coventry city centre.

Millerchip was remanded in custody after the court hearing. She will not be sentenced for the attack until she has stood trial on a separate burglary charge.

Then read this;

A pensioner has died in hospital three months after a sickening city-centre assault by a young woman was caught on CCTV.

In August, Joginder Singh, from Canley, Coventry, was kicked and pushed to the ground by 19-year-old Coral Millerchip, who also knocked off his turban.

The 80-year-old died last Sunday after being re-admitted to hospital with a diagnosed illness.

Millerchip, whose address cannot be published for legal reasons, admitted assault at a court hearing last month and was remanded in custody.

A post-mortem examination conducted on Monday proved inconclusive and police are awaiting the results of further tests.

Millerchip was due in court later this month for sentencing but detectives have notified the Crown Prosecution Service of Mr Singh's death and are awaiting a decision on what further steps may need to be taken.

Detective Chief Inspector Matt Markham, from Coventry CID, said: "Following the assault, Mr Singh was readmitted to hospital and was being treated for a diagnosed condition and at this stage it is unclear if that is directly connected with the assault.

"Our thoughts remain with the family and those affected by Mr Singh's death and we will continue to work with CPS and the coroner to establish the cause of death.

"Specialist family liaison police officers have been appointed to liaise with Mr Singh's next of kin and we will continue to support the family at this sad time."

So no one yet know's if he actually died of her attack, but what are your thoughts, Theres become quite a few FaceBook groups like this; https://www.facebook.com/pages/Get-Coral-Millerchips-charge-changed-to-manslaughter/159171937626816?fref=tck

If there's medical proof that he died from implications from the attack, I can't see why not?

This.

Though he is quite old so we shouldn't jump to conclusions.

But quite frankly I wouldn't mind seeing her thrown in a cell for a long time, we don't need scum like that in our society. RIP my good man.

Obviously there needs to be medical proof that he died of implications due to the attack, but either way I agree with Ardemax - I'd quite happily have chavvy scum like her kept in prison.

The fact that horrific crimes like this are now filmed in broad daylight just shows how out of control crime is in this country despite - amazingly! (not) - the government claiming that crime is falling year on year.

As a believer in a higher authority and not the British Justice System - she'll pay for this one day.
