Chris will be sorting out a thread to say who's been paid and who hasn't. Myself and Chris get a PM each time an item has been bought so we have that in our inbox for records as well. In terms of prices, we can increase them for sure. Any first time buyers will be considered the lucky ones I guess? ;)

Considering 1 month VIP costs someone 20c on Habbo abouts (to buy from someone else), that should be a basic guideline.

So probably about 1500 tokens

You need to think about the initial rush, at the moment 19 members have over 5,000 Tokens - that's 950 credits straight the way. It's better to start off too high and work your way down to a nice equilibrium really.

I think I was always umming and ahhing over it because everyone has so many tokens already that its bound to be very unstable at the beginning so kudos for just getting some numbers and going for it. :)

2 weeks VIP is 2000 so a month (taking into account bulk discount) prob like 3000, so going by what people pay in creds for VIP 20c should be at least that, if not more because credits are prob more desirable to more people than VIP

yeah I actually used you as an example on client!! Thing is 'cos it was limited to one every two months it would take you a lonngggg time to get all those credits. I still think it was cheap though (and i'm kicking myself for not buying any)

Oh have they been removed from the shop? And yeah the 2 months limit is good so in that way maybe the pricing is fine. But then it'll take time to manually check each time to see if they've bought it already, unless it can be done from the shop plugin.

Feedback:
Cost should be 1 token.
Limit should be 1 every second for people.


BUT SERIOUSLY... I know you will be getting some competition soon, from unofficial sites and other official sites - they'll more and likely try to make theirs better, if it means increasing and decreasing one thing or whatever. My tip would be to raise the cost, but allow more than one buy every two months.

Maybe allow the first buy to be cheap though for new users...

That's around 10 short posts per credit.

You'd need 250 tokens for 5c.
500 for 10c;
1000 for 20;
2500 for 50;

That makes it a little harder to get the larger amounts, but not stupidly high.

Also the cool down period from buying one is a good idea.

Its not possible to do that exactly but we can include information about the tokens system in the automated PM that is sent when a new user registers.

We'll probably do double token events again in the future. We haven't had one for a while.

Yeah, that would definitely be worthwhile (in response to the top bit). Just make a big thing of them being able to become a richer player as a result of posting on here.

Not fussed about double tokens for us, was more just thinking of incentives for new members :)

Yeah they're not transparent. We just took them from the Habbox Wiki so I'll get that sorted soon.

They shouldn't have a problem with it. It's like giving away free credits at the end of the day. All you are doing is using the tokens the user has earned by posting on the forum. We aren't selling the credits for any sort of money.

I think the forum shop should be a bit more easily accessed so new users don't easily miss it and are enticed to post more after seeing what they can purchase.

I don't see why you should be using tokens to get credits, in all honesty I think Habbox might needs the credits more than giving them away for all their events am bigger events!
I think having it so that you pay for tokens would e a far better idea as then Habbox would be increasing its credits and then meaning they can spend it on more event ideas for not only the Habbox community but in client too!

If you can just buy tokens, you wouldn't bother posting if you wanted the VIP or something. Meanwhile, offering credits for tokens encourages posting.
