How do I change my profile pic?

I managed to figure out how to change my avatar, but how can I change my profile picture?
Are they separate things? Like is the avatar only for forums?

It's most likely due to the fact you're new, you need like 5 posts to no longer be moderated, in which case I imagine that permission will be allowed.
