Recently in the news and across the world there have been some devastating storms, tornados and flooding! I myself was affected by the storm in the south of the UK during the week holiday for Halloween! However, the gail force winds and all mighty rains didn't stop there! The Philippians were badly effected by a horrendous storm that ripped up houses from the ground and scrapped cars across walls, buildings and shops like cheese against a grater!
For this competition I would like you to tell me what you would do to help protect people from these dramatic natural disasters.

I'm very well aware of what's going on in Philippines, i mean we all are. When it comes to helping people, they usually want to
provide them support in terms of money, clothes, food etc. But the thing is, i find out there's other way to help them. Sing
them a song, lift their spirits up, make them happy, and fill the atmosphere with joy. A slight of smile from them would mean a lot to all of us. Pray for Philippines!
I don't know if I can justify what I'm about to say, as I don't know everyones doings, but you see celebrities buying houses worth billions and it distresses me to think of what someone suffering in a situation like the Philippines did, what they could do with a tiny smidgen of that money. That being said though, I guess you never hear of good things about celebrities because it doesn't make exciting news.
So to answer your question, I would plead for those celebrities that have more money than they really need, to help out a bit. It's not their place but in perspective, they can afford dresses at thousands of dollars but they don't NEED to spend that much. Yeah. :)

I am going to go stand outside habbox headquarters and protest that everyone should boycott all habbox related things until the GM's donate all their gold bars to the relief efforts!!!
But in all seriousness everyone needs to donate at least $10 to red cross appeal.

my teacher did something in 6th grade where you would bring something such as brownies or drinks and people would just come and buy stuff. It turned out successful, we made about $200 and then we sent all of it to red cross. so i would do that

well at my school every year two students will go around everyones form group and ask if anyone wants to buy anything. Recently they had pudsey wristbands & poppys for sale.
I would get a few people to buy something from a bake sale and go round the classes, then donate all of the money to the charities that are helping the causes in those countries
Not that original but yeaa
Inseriousity.

Id just drop a large dome on top of the affected area so that it was safe then move it to where the next natural disaster is going to strike once its passed.

I would stick my middle finger up at Poseidon.
No, in all seriousness I would take a chunk out of America's defence budget and use it to build efficient flood barriers around each of the islands of the Phillippines. I would also invest in improving emergency rescue services so that in the need of evacuation, nobody is left behind. And that is why I should be President of the World.
