THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT AND A NEW TYPE OF HACK SO PLEASE LISTEN

I just searched 'habbox' expecting to find an event, and a room called 'new game win 90c' came up and of course i went there. The first room was a telephrase question saying "what is the colour of the first letter in the google logo" - okay so I get this question right, seems legit. The next room, another telephrase question, this time it asks you about details on a FAKE FANSITE, and encourages you to go to the link and check it out and find the answer. Thankfully many people were there warning me about it, but at least 20 people were hacked by this and fell for it, as numerous clones came int he room, and were inviting their friends, but their friends didn't know it was really their friend but the hacker. When me and others were warning other people, the owner (hacker) muted us and then did a :muteall in the room with the fake link!

Thankfully the MOD's have shut down the rooms but there is nothing stopping it from happening again, especially considering the amount of accounts that were hacked.

There has been people on a rampage to hack recently and one is where they ask you to vote on a tumblr page and another is saying go on this fansite

So there's a website which, once visited, you're instantly hacked. That's either bullcrap, or someone has recreated the session stealer thing again.

The rooms been open, or i've seen it under habbox, for about a week and each time I've searched it, it's been full, with 25 people in it. I've reported it twice but yeah now the rooms locked which is good. Stupid people :@

The worst thing about all of this is that the person who owns the main room is the general manager for HabboKingdom (if it is actually them on the account..) - Habbo's official fansite. Standing in there now trying to report the room, but moderators don't seem to give a toss.

Sulake should be slammed for failing to comply with safety regulations and agreements on a childrens game. Moderators should be reading reports and responding to obvious safety problems.

this is something user support or the hotel managers need to know about so that they can pass the message on to moderation. i implore anyone to catch their attention through the help tool or spam it in staff visits.

I second this! and they really need to have like one "Inhouse Super Mod" on at all times. One that looks at these kind of issues and actually knows what their doing and can act on a per situation basis

i fell for this still had furni on the account cause i checked by searching my rooms so i try to get it back by contacting habbo support .... they reply 3 days later when 15 hours before who ever hacked me logged back on and robbed everything :( think ill double check next time i put my detail into anything!

I am really annoyed, I said in the room that it is a scam and to be careful. I then reported the room to a moderator, yet MOD-Arquidis stupidly muted me for "disrupting an event" and didn't close the room. This is bad, especially after the article on habbo.com about these rooms. I have created a ticket on the helptool and I am actually expecting a decent reply, as recently WaltzMatilda and Powertoo have been replying, and they are the team who should be aware of this problem and wrote the article. Today I was in one of these rooms, this one is owned by "Pleasantngan" and the room is called "[TH] Great Adventure - Win 150cr". The last question on the wired asks you to go to www.OneHabbo.com to find out who the habbo of the week is. I knew this room was a well known scam so I reported it to a moderator, however I was very unhappy with the outcome. At around 11:44 today (11th January 2014) I actually got muted by the moderator for "disrupting an event"! This was inappropriate as I was not disrupting the event and also the room didn't get closed by the moderator.

Problem I see with this.. They didn't mention anything about Fansites and web URL's for genuine sites, I know the official fansite list is up but I wouldn't understand fansites if I was a new user. They should of put a link to the Fansite list or something, I dont know?
