Like I don't ever remember being like this it's only past year it's happened, but whenever a [close] friend of mine hangs out with other people and gets close to them as well I become insanely, idk "jealous" ? I know it seems really petty and unfair but I'm always worried that they'll become better friends with the other person (has happened many an occasion before) and ditch me for them and I don't like being ditched/lonely lmao :( this happens online and irl and I don't usually say anything to the person cause it's basically "how dare you have another friend" and people can choose whoever they wish >.<

Does anyone else get like this :/?

Are they actually your friend? Surely with a true friend you wouldn't get that feeling? I'll be your friend Hayden!!!

I don't get this because I don't have any friends but I guess just make sure you're the best friend they could have then they'll never leave so like give them money/get on your knees/stuff them and keep their body with you at all times/whatever

i don't get this but then again i think to all my friends i'm their favourite friend SO (being completely serious here, i mean in my close knit group of 5 friends all 4 of them like me the best)

for other friends we're not close enough to care BUT if it was a boyfriend or a boy i'd like YES OBVIOUSLY I GET JEALOUS.

Inseriousity.

It's your insecurities coming to the fore feeling like you're being replaced. You're right, it's a bit silly to expect someone to stick to one friend for the rest of their lives. You need to get more comfortable being alone so that when you are with someone you don't get jealous if they end up drifting apart. As I say to all insecure people, they should write a list of what they like about themselves and what they don't like but the rule is that it has to be balanced so good, bad, good, bad, good, bad cos most insecure people focus so heavily on what they hate about themselves that they don't realise there are good things about themselves too.

It's happened before and bound to happen again.

Just ask if your friend is available at weekends or something and try to spend a little more time with him/her

me and this girl used to be in a big groupp of friends
ok big being like errm there was 10 of us
and the group would always go out without me and the girl but then lie to us about where they're going but post pics on fb
and yeh i guess we got jealous/mad lmao but now me and the girl are close mates and hate the group of girlsss because they seem to like ******** about us
so yeh i used to get that jealous feeeeling but i guess doesnt rly bother me anymore
i used to get jealous if people ditched me for charlotte as well lmao because loads of people like if i was to invite them round my house or something they'd always ask to into charlottes room or go say hi to charlotte and theyd stay with herr then suddenly they become all close with charlotte lmao but no it doesnt really bother me anymore either because im a lot closer to charlotte than what i wasss like tbh we say we hate eachother and on the odd occasion she'd get really mad and wish i wasnt born but no i would consider her as a friend haha
but i think its different irl than online lmao it sounds silly but i think i get more jealous online than irl because idk

I don't really, because my friends are allowed to do as they please. However, perhaps I do feel left out in certain situations, and this sort of adds to my insecurity.
