Lostprophets Singer Ian Watkins Guilty of attempted baby rape

The lead singer of the band Lostprophets Ian Watkins was charged today with the attempted rape of a baby, among other charges including possessing child porn.

Did you suspect him. A friend of mine was a big fan and met him so she was very shocked and obviously disappointed. It does bring the question can you really trust anyone?

It's strange but it might be that the media was told not to mention the mothers as this is a high profile case, or they did not appear in this case and are being tried separately. Presumably they've been found guilty of child abuse or will be since he has been convicted of the crimes.

On another note: Loads of people are saying there are going to be a load of Ian Watkins jokes, yet I'm yet to see a single one :/ The latest Facebook/reddit craze seems to be stating there will be jokes, yet none actually appear. Not that I'm saying it's a joking matter, but it seems odd to warn of it when there's no evidence there will be any.

You do all realise the anonymity is NOT for the sake of the mothers. If you think about it, by revealing who the mothers are, it will soon come out who the children are - that is what the mothers anonymity is for, to protect the children who have been so disgustingly let down.
