Couldn't find a thread for this so I thought I'd make one--

Almost Human is set waaay into the future, where policemen are required to have "partners" to help them with cases. John Lennox has just came out of a 2 year coma after a mission against a criminal organisation failed. While adjusting to the aftermath of the incident, he returns to the force. After his first partner has a "road accident by falling out of the moving car", he is assigned a DRN, which is made to feel emotions that the other synthetics couldn't. The only problem is they have breakdowns because of this. John has problems adjusting to the new partner, but as the series is continuing the two become close.

I've only just watched 2 episodes and I think it's a fantastic watch. There's action and a lot of humour. I highly recommend it to anyone, it's really worth a watch!

It's by the same people who made FRINGE, hope it's not too similar though.

Haven't watched it but did a quick Google, definitely not similar. There's police yet, but most of it isn't unexplained stuff. More like bombers and serial killers etc etc.
