I am back.. and need guidance

Not sure who is still lurking around these forums, but hello there!

I have just gotten a new Mac (Woo!) and have been bored so I decided to join up Rune again... Clearly there have been a bazillion updates and now I am looking for any guides on the new combat system/other important info I may have missed over the last year-ish...

I would recommend playing through the new quests as soon as possible, the RuneScape timeline has advanced (we are now in the 6th age, no longer stuck on the same day in the 5th age) so there is a lot of storyline to catch up on.

Divination is a simple but slow skill, you start it just east of Draynor, and the new skill, Inventing, partners Divination (Like Smithing is to Mining) and will be out early 2014.

The main thing for training skills these days is the introduction of more D and Ds, read up on them if you get a chance :)

You can buy them then sell them to players/ge or exchange for runecoins/spins/membership. We have old school 2007 Runescape too which is ok. Other than that Kardan has explained most to you :P

Have you not experienced EoC then? I thought that was over a year old. Well the ability bar just lets you use abilities.. you can drag and drop those into the bar. Using keys on your keyboard you can action these abilities. Most people use Momentum for long training .. it's just like the old way of fighting then. As for combat gear, POP armour or Nex armour would probably be best at your level. Depends on your budget?

I seem to be always on a budget... :P Right now I have like 15 mil to spend on stuff. Thoughts on what I should wear and use as a weapon??

Probably looks like good old Bandos then Sab :( There's more of a combat triangle now.. so you'll probably need mage gear/melee gear and range gear :)
