Global Icon Britney Spears To Retire?

At just 32 years of age just a few year older of some of the pop girls who are at the beginning of their careers such as Lady Gaga and Katy Perry, one of the biggest popstars in the world, icon and pop princess Britney Spears could be set to retire. Is it the end for the princess mount queen of pop?


Britney just launched her eighth album and will perform 100 shows over the next two years in Las Vegas, but after that it may just be sweet tea and babies.

She tells Extra's Mario Lopez she may retire after the residency stint.
"I might, who knows… I may have two more kids and get married… I'd like to have more kids."
On the "Piece Of Me" shows, she says it's grueling but a really entertaining show.

“It’s like ten more times more dancing and it’s more aspects of, like, more props and more gags -- we use that to bring it more to life, make it really exciting.”

All these singers retire and most of them have no control over their spending/drug habits and thus have to return to continue funding their 'colourful' lifestyles. Britney though - I love her new aliens song.

If she retires she will be back. I remember when she last toured in Australia she lip synced and I remember watching it on the news. Anyway, a fan that was close to the stage recorded her and she sounded horrible.

It would be a real shame if she did retire (unless she has and i'm missing something?) anyway she is and always will be the best pop artist or one of the best in my opinion. I prefer her old music so to her newer songs tbh. She's achieved a lot during her long career so i guess if she does retire she'll be able to think back and realise how hard shes worked and how many fans she actually has.
