Who was the first Habbo?

A habbo came into hxhd asking "who was the first habbo to join habbo hotel?" A lot of us spent a long time researching and then checking creation dates on the habbo search bar.

The oldest habbo we found was "blackeyed" with a creation date of 16th January, 2001.

Can anyone else find a habbo who was created before 16/01/2001?

Aapo was the name of the first on habbo.fi/hotel kultikalalalallfddgff whatever and on .co.uk, but I'm 99% sure that account got lost in the merge.

The oldest account that still exists however, I wouldn't be able to find it easily. 16th January was the public beta opening date on habbo.co.uk (now merged into .com) so it's impossible to find older excluding (ex) staff.

We said that, but the guy was after the habbo with the oldest creation date, we found moderator who had a creation date of 2002 but it still didn't beat 2001

Aapo had the first account, but all the early staff accounts are gone with the merge.

Oh right, so does that mean blackeyed has the earliest creation date that we can find in the habbo search bar? (If that makes sense)

Yeah I had Aapo on Rolah friendlist, he was the oldest I knew.

It's crazy to think that these people have been on Habbo for nearly 13 years, providing the account hasn't been sold.

there's habbos that are older than abdicators... examples:

"deb"
"tripper"
"swell"
and probs quite a few more. as far as I know, blackeyed has the oldest date he has had that account for a good few years even if he wasn't the original.

Kudos to Abdicators for being the oldest Habbo I have ever seen who hasn't bought his account!

But still crazy that I remember seeing him around this forum quite a bit earlier this year! That's a long time to be Habbo-ing :D

Aapo was the first, but his account is no longer registered so must be that person you found, but chances are, it's been sold on.

As we're talking pre-merge, were you looking for the UK hotel or US/SG/CA/AU?

aapo was indeed the first on UK, his rooms/account was removed during the merge I'm sure. The first US Habbo (an American inquisitor might want to know) was 'Whatwasit', now called 'Whatwasit$' (with the post-merge suffix), who's room, originally called 'Kämp' was the first room on Habbo US, you can still visit it too (http://www.habbo.com/room/1). It is room #1 on the current merged hotel.
