A bizarre choice for AGM Staff there. Personally, I've already given my views that the position should be scrapped and its responsibilities shared. Seems weird to keep it and give it ALL to another agm when it could be shared but okay, good luck with the extra workload tom.

Yeah for a while my attitude hasn't been the greatest, but I did explain to Matt why it was - hopefully that's all behind us now and we can look forward to the future and keep improving Habbox and its other sites. I am very thankful I've been given the opportunity and I don't want to disappoint!

Personally I believe they should have taken this oppurtunity to change the system & given Department managers the power to do their own departments permissions, that way they don't take 3 days to do as the managers can do them as soon as they get the confirmation PM from the applicant. But Im sure they had their reasons.

Then all department managers will have to Admin permissions as you can only give permissions through the admin cp

Security is one of the reasons why we don't let all managers do permissions. We also do checks (such as IP address checks etc) that the dept. managers wouldn't be able to do. All permissions that have been requested since the departure of the previous AGM (Staff) have all been done within 24 hours and most cases they are done on the same day.

We are also wanting to put changes into the Staff AGM role like it was back in the day so it isn't just a permissions editor role as well.

That's the problem with some AGMs - it's their job to make themselves known and show what they do, but a lot of them recently don't actually do much of that!

That's because the vast majority of their work is about doing things with managers. Around 95% of the things you see around Habbox will have an AGM's fingerprints all over it even if they never take any of the credit. Sometimes it's no involvement at all and others it's the whole thing that apart from the words to make the thread it's all their work. Not saying you're entirely wrong though, they could also implement many ideas that need their approval and there's a lot of twiddling of thumbs when if they got cracking there'd be some radical changes that would make it very clear what the general management team does.
