Hi, guys, first of all I just wanna say that I'm new in here, I've been in Habbox for weeks but didn't registered until now... I adore this site and have so many questions about those amazing games you guys talk about so much...
First of all, it's the ''What time is it, Mr.Wolf?'' one... How do you play that? I mean, I know how to play it in real life, but not how it would be converted to Habbo.. If you guys could send me printscreens or pictures of this game, like, the rooms, I would really apreciate it, cuz I wanna learn how to play it and tell my Brazilian fellows about it..
Here in Habbo Brazil we don't have much of the games you guys do...
I always take a look at your events, like, Supermarket Sweep, or Addition, and I bring that to Brazil.. But I haven't seen any photos of Mr.Wolf's game, or the ''Grab A Chair'' game...
If you guys could explain to me these 3 games:
What time is it, Mr.Wolf?
Grab A Chair
Save Santa
or any other games that I'm not familiar with, I would be really thankfull... (Especially if you send pictures of the rooms)
I'm sorry my english isn't perfect :)
Thanks, y'all

Hello,
I have just looked on Habbox.com and realised the events you are asking about aren't present on the list we have compiled, in the future this is usually the first stop to find out how to play such games and most of the time we have Wiki pages which will include an image of a standard game area for the game in question. Searching around the forum I have managed to find these for you:
6 players enter and take a seat on the pods. The host will pass the dice around to each player in order. The player will move forward however many the dice says. For example, if someone rolled a 5, their pod would be moved forward 5 places. Remember that if there's only say, 3 squares left till the end of the room for example, they'd need to roll a 3 or less to move. The last person to the end wins.

Unfortunately, we don't have an image of grab a seat to hand, but the rules are fairly straight forward.
An amount of players will enter the game area, they will all teleport to the same spot to ensure fairness in the event. Once the doors have closed the event will begin and the amount of chairs will be one lower than how many players are currently playing - it's a little similar to Musical Chairs, but with the absence of music. The gate will then open (where all the players are) and they must run to a seat and sit down. If they don't get a seat they are out and they need to leave the game area. This will continue until there is one seat left and the first person to sit on it will win. Each round you will remove seats in order to ensure people are out every time.
I'm unsure about Save Santa, but I believe one of the events team members will help you with this one!
Dragga; should be able to explain Save Santa for you :)

Hey there :) Thanks for the question.
We've listed a majority of the games and their rules on the Habbox site located at - http://habbox.com/#!/Ourevents, but as for those 3 I will explain:
What's the time Mr. Wolf - You place down a row of seats (like in pod racing, but you can have more) and give each player a turn to roll the dice. The number that appears on the dice is how many spaces they must move forward. So if player in seat 1# rolled a 3, that chair would move 3 spaces. This keeps going until all but one of the players has reached the end (that player is the winner).
Grab a chair - All players step onto some kind of teleport (preferably banzai) and end up behind a gate at one end of the game area. Then the host opens the gate and all players run out to sit down on a chair - the person/people who don't manage to sit on a chair are out. You pick up one chair each round usually unless you want 2+ players out per round.
Save Santa - can't say I've come across this before?
I will get you screenshots soon :P

OK OR EVERYONE CAN POST BEFORE ME TOTALLY COOL.
Basically Save Santa is a race game where Santa will be on a line of rollers and you need to make your way through a minimaze to stop him from falling off the rollers, if u do so, you will win and u would need 2-3 wins depending on the amount of people attending the event to earn a prize :D

Wow, I thought the whats the time Mr Wolf would be a really unique game... But it's not. It's just the same (or the opposite) ofdon't hit my wall, or pod racing or whatever it is.
And grab a chair is just musical chairs.

Oh, I see.. I actualy knew the Grab a Chair one already, but here in Brazil we call it diferently :)
Thank's for the screenshot of Mr.Wolf's, but I kinda didn't understood the last part.. (the last player to the end wins).. You mean, the player who reaches the end of the room first, or the player who stays far from the end of the room? Thanks :)

Basically yeah, but if anyone tried to host e.g. Musical Chairs then Grab A Chair after each other I wouldn't allow it at all.

You do not want to reach the end of the room as that's how you lose :).
you should update the section in the events staff handbook me and mathew made and make it public
might be nice to have in the cnb section so people are aware of the different games that are available to host
ALSO you could have a competition where people have to come up with a new game to add to the thread (winner = prize)!

Thank's for the explanation!! I would love to see a screenshot of this game, maybe? Just to check out the decoration of the room... I know how it's done, but I wish I could see a decorated room, and what's used to be ''Santa''... If you got one, I'll apreciate it :)

Cheers for the feedback/ideas, theyve been noted x :)
Ye hun here is the layout of the game. Basically its called Beat the (insert item here) but I named it Save Santa to be a Xmas themed event.
Firstly, a player comes and takes a seat. On the word go an item (can be anything, but usually something along the lines of a dragon / bunny) is placed on a set of rollers; at the same time the player runs through the small maze of chairs. If they make it to the end before the item has dropped off they will win, however if the item has dropped they have lost and must reload to play again. There should be enough rollers so that it is possible for someone to win (test it if you're not sure whether it's easy / hard enough), however not so many that almost everyone will win. On average, it's about two chairs per roller.

Just so you both know, I did this type of competition twice on the forum and they get 2-3 entries if any at all so Hayden, if you do it, don't make it too complex. Might get a better result nowadays as events tend to get a lot of feedback :)
