View Full Version : [Bobba] Pre V9

Many people have said about it before but I would say V9 is the last good version. Here is why

Old Public rooms
Back in the old days we would all pile into a public room to meet a celeb. Or go to the Lido for a dive. Even though tickets costed we would still dive and
people would vote. We would also head to the Info bus and meet Frank or talk to staff.

Habbo Hand
Although the inventory is handy the hand was brilliant. You had all your items in and would pick them out. The hand was an icon, it was the essence of
habbo and everyone loved it.

The old messenger
The old messenger was brilliant and funny. It again was iconic and everyone loved it. The new one has its uses but its just boring.

Original Habbo Club
The first habbo club was great. Getting a HC, Mocha, Tubmaster, HC desk. What wasn't to love?

Hobbas, Habbo(x)es and HM being vocal
Ione, Jibbi, Callie were all great managers, they cared about the hotel and would visit random rooms and chat to you. When a celeb guest came in you would see the Manager and everyone would freak out.

Iced, Plasto and old furni
Everyone hated HC plasto and loved pods but the Iced furni was great too. Everyone would be making iced rooms.

People were a lot nicer
You would walk into a room and chat to anyone. The community was a tight knit one and everyone was nice. There was noone shouting profanity or critising people for their sexuallity.

There were bad parts but I think Habbo declined since then.

I only joined habbo in 2010 but I felt that I missed out a whole lot not joining earlier.

Advocating for old habbo for the sake of old habbo is counter-productive.

There are a few things I would love to see back ie public rooms, old colour clothing but majority of the stuff from old habbo would be redundant and counter progressive towards a fun experience for a lot of new users.

I mean can you imagine if they brought back the big hand and how many people would be like 'yayyyy' before quickly realise, damn this is annoying trying to navigate through for one furni hidden within hundreds of items.

Or if they limited the catalogue to basic furni such as plasto. We can see how successful that would be with the reception of builders club which is deemed a huge failure on part of Sulake with the main reason being the limitations of furni offered.

If they brought back public rooms I dare say this constant debate about OldHabbo v NuHabbo would be a lot less significant. Sulake should just listen to majority of users, bring them back and get it over and done with. I literally don't see what they have to lose by bringing them back.

I am not saying post V9 has been a failure, but the essence of Habbo being a community has been lost. The catalogue is a mess. There are so many different options it takes ages for you to get what you want.

As for Callie she was very under rated as a manager. She was being given update to put in and was being controlled by a higher power but still had time to be a HM.

as previously stated the inventory has now got its uses and the habbo hand has been made redundant which is probably a good thing but as it is now
Habbo have lost members and its profits are starting to fall.
