THE RULES:
1. Your wish list has to rhyme (not necessarily every line though: think couplets and triplets).
2. List should be no longer than six lines.
3. You can ask for up to THREE different furni (be reasonable, no LTDĀ“s).
4. The top 25 entries will receive a Time to Rhyme badge.
5. The top 10 best entries will receive a Time to Rhyme badge and ONE piece of furni from their wish list.
6. Send your entries along with your Habbo name to: [email protected]
7. Make sure you put Habbo Christmas Wish List Competition as subject for your email.
8. Only one entry per (physical) person please.
9. Deadline for the competition is: Wednesday December 18th at 6pm EST (US).
10. The winning entries will be published by Friday December 20th.
11. Santa will deliver the winners' furni presents on Monday December 23rd.

Today a new competition was published. I have a few problems with this competition though. For one, people are obviously going to ask for expensive, super rare furni. While one small competition like this won't directly alter values, if the staff start awarding prizes like these for competitions it could dramatically alter values. This only reaffirms to me why LTDs are the future of the Habbo rare economy. I would like to believe Powertoo knows what she's doing and will only pick reasonable wishlists to win, but from past experience she hasn't always shown the best judgement when making decisions.

What makes me wonder is if staff are smart and know values, if you're in the top you get one item so will they pick the least valuable?

Its a lovely idea, my average item costs like 300c, lol.

I'm going to guess that staff don't know the values. They said don't pick limited edition rares, but they didn't say don't pick super rares. I predict some unfair prizes to be given out.

Yeah it's very likely to happen!

Sent in my entry, was fun :P.

Speaking of unfair prizes, what ever happened to the Executive ICM given to FieryCold?

I'm pretty sure he bet it and lost it, but I could've just heard rumors.

I asked for things that I mentioned in my poem. Some of them are rare and some of them are cheap(er).

One of them (Vilencia) actually won a furni from their list, but they also asked for a jade laser gate and a casual bot, so who knows what they actually got.

Lol at the entries. A whole lot of 'never to be released again rares' are about to make an appearance it seems

Never fear guys I spoke to powertoo the other day and she confirmed that sulake would not approve the distribution of rares worth over 300gb.

I hope you realize that 300gbs is worth 15,000 credits. There are very few, if any, pieces of furniture worth this amount. There are many rares below this 300gbs that I would still consider ridiculously unfair to hand out. I don't see why they love awarding badges for competitions instead of credits, yet are willing to hand out super rares at a whim without even knowing their values.

Yeah I realise that 300 gb is 15,000c lol. And yes there are very few items worth this, but that didn't stop many people asking for moodi machines, fucsia ice cream machines and pink laser gates in their wish lists. Which if they had given out, I, and other owners of these supers would be livid.

But yes, I don't think they should give out any supers for a competition unless it is a room building competition and even then they should be reasonable.
