Hi there.
I think all Lost Prophets songs should be banned from the radio. after the fiasco that's going on just now with the lead singer. Yes some people still like there music but most will get hurt about it i feel.
I admit the songs are good but to think what he done no sorry cant listen to it ( im father of 1).
We have all heard what he has done and where hes going and 80% of habbox users are under 16.
But hey im just a DJ with a idea its not me that decides it's you guys.
Whats do you think and tell us what you want in the poll!!!!
( if you dont know whats happened with the lead singer google Ian Watkins)

Just because someone has done something wrong doesn't mean their music stops getting played. Michael Jackson was accused of a lot of things but his music was still recognised and played globally. Up to the communi but in my opinion I don't think we should ban their songs, no.

His music is getting taken out of HMV, but that doesnt mean we do it.

I don't know how someone can play them all the time when you can only play the same artist once per hour ;)
But never even heard of the artist let alone the incident let alone on HabboxLive.
do u think new gaga/r kelly song should be banned as well

I don't know how someone can play them all the time when you can only play the same artist once per hour ;).
Does that count for collaborations too?
E.g. If someone played Ke$ha - Tik Tok, could they play Pitbull ft. Ke$ha - Timber later on in the hour?
What? No? I know it's different but a lot of artists use drugs, should we ban them from being played too? Just because he isn't an ideal role model shouldn't mean you guys can't play their songs, they have some really great tunes!
why don't we ban every musician who's ever smoked a spliff as well, cos they're setting a bad example...
death. i think molesting a baby is a bit different from taking drugs
molesting a baby is about as far from "ideal" and being a role model as u can get :L

Not heard it nor have i read the lyrics which i will do just now. the only thing i see it not being played is if its swearing.....
Just read it there. me i would have to double check with Head DJ Due to its .........graphic nature lol.4
I think People are taking this out of the point and saying should we ban them for this and them for that.
you will find most artists have done some sort of drugs or something.
Lady gag just admitted she smoked weed but that dont mean we dont play her.
All i was saying was for the benefit of the younger children and people are throwing it out of context
it also seams to me that this is turning into a debate when really we are asking for your feedback on the subject not turn into a episode of Jeremy Kyle.
We wanted to know what you thought about the band and should it be played or Temp banned until the situation is dealt with atleast.
MY OWN PERSONAL OPINION NO ONE ELSE'S IS THAT IT SHOULD AS I SAID ( sorry had to caplock that....everyone is entitled to there opinion)
Thank you
Sorry just wanted to make things clear......once again
Not heard it nor have i read the lyrics which i will do just now. the only thing i see it not being played is if its swearing.....

I never liked them so I'm not 100% sure but I imagine he didn't write lyrics along the lines of "I'm gonna touch this baby up" so what's the problem? His music isn't him

nah I have no plan on banning it. If I were to start banning songs, I may as well say we should be Justin Biebs for taking drugs and being a bad role model, Miley Cyrus for the promotion of ****iness etc. Although I wouldn't mind banning the two above artists because I dislike them highly, I don't. Obviously this baby thing is much more extreme, but it's a band, not a solo artist, on top of the fact that none of the songs mimic anything bad and are actually much more sterile than many of the crappy artists auto tuning their way with crappy hits nowadays.

OT: I personally would be uncomfortable if I was listening to hxl and lost prophets or someone like robin thicke came up
No, because he was only 1/3 of the band, and though he was the lead singer the other guys sadly have to be associated with what he did and they made the music too.
Though I get why people feel uncomfortable.

Literally said in my post that its completely different... I know it's disgusting, sick and much more but just because he has done it doesn't mean that the bands music should be banned

Rooftops is a decent song lol
why don't we ban every musician who's ever smoked a spliff as well, cos they're setting a bad example...
Yes, because smoking a spliff and attempting to rape a baby are pretty much the same thing..
Rob. You slightly annoy me. Although you seem cool in your pic. On Skype. ;)
Don't say stuff like this in public - hardly a good way to get relations up in your department.
---------
Anyway, don't ban them; the guy is a disgusting vile excuse for a human being; but that doesn't mean you should stop listening to the entire bands music; sure, he will earn royalty money when people buy/listen to it; but somehow I don't think he'll be out of jail very soon to actually enjoy that.
I may as well say we should be Justin Biebs for taking drugs and being a bad role model, Miley Cyrus for the promotion of ****iness etc.
painfully stupid and not comparable in the slightest. no u wouldnt "may as well" ban them as well because u banned a baby molesters music :S
COMPLETELY on another planet ends of the spectrum. it would be perfectly reasonable and understandable to ban the lost prophets music e.g. as HMV have done. but EXTREME and prudish to ban those artists music for ur lame ass reasons

yeah idk on one hand it's not fair on the other band members but on the other hand, he was the lead singer + always in the videos n most popular etcccc it would be diff if he was just a drummer who u can throw out the band lol their songs weren't that bad omg loved last train home, last summer, 4am forever, rooftops etc I will prob still listen to them cause like Tom says i don't think there's any hidden meanings about raping babies in them (+ maybe the songs were before he even thought about it). there could be a million artist out there who do terrible things tht we don't kno about. I wouldn't protest if it was taken off tho
i love last summer so much :'(

Like others have said Michael Jackson was accused of similar things and he is still played on the radio. I don't think banning it will help at all. It's not played on the radio often anyway so like i said it's not a big problem.
Mikey

No I don't think it should be banned, shouldn't be punishing the whole band for something one member did..

Come on, It's not like he's going to come out of the radio and rape us (In all seriousness).

I dont get why the world are blaming lost prophets for what happened. They were unaware of what happened and just because their lead singer has done
wrong doesn't mean the rest of the band should suffer.

If DJs didn't play music from people who have done horrible things (not just what Ian Watkins did) then we wouldn't play much music at all. So many big stars have done bad things just like people said Michael Jackson. And let's face it if you didn't know what Ian did you would still be happy to listen to their music. I don't see it as a big deal, especially when lost prophets are barely if ever played on HxL. Also it wasn't the whole band it was one person in the band. The band have stated their disgust so why should they have to suffer now?

I love LP and always will. Their music shouldn't be banned because of what happened with the lead singer.
nah
i shouldnt even have to explain

Not sure if it's too late to vote but I voted "no". Why condemn all of the band for the sheer stupidity and evil of just one member?
