The suggestions thread will close sometime on the 24th December and the final awards will be posted sometime after Christmas, along with nominations.

There is no set date and time when this event will take place either, so don't start asking for that yet! ;)

I don't like the idea of having ugliest member, rudest (maybe?), or things like that, as it's basically bullying and against what Habbox stands for. It's counterproductive to vote on putting people down, and will not only put current members off, but possible future ones too.

Shouldn't you do the staff awards in a private staff forum or something, seems like a lot compared to general awards

Are staff awards going to be shortlisted by members and picked by management this year? I would hate for it to turn into a complete popularity contest.

here are some suggestions:

- most scandalous
- most valuable (to the habbox community)
- most omnipresent (for staff awards, although I feel Chris; would have this in the bag)
- most notorious spammer
- best/worst username change
- most logical member (I think jorsian; is a good example in terms of posts)

I feel like a lot of the general categories are geared towards older users who have been here a long time and the award would signify a span of something longer than a year. Maybe the newcomer category could be expanded slightly because I (and am sure other 2013 posters have no clue about many forum relationships and probably a lot of missed gossip here and there)

- most popular newcomer
- most respected newcomer
- funniest newcomer
- most active newcomer

Right guys, I'll try finalising a list tonight/tomorrow or somewhere around there. We won't use every idea, but there are a fair amount I like.

I think I'll put it best ex staff member too, you know so they're not forgotten about perhaps as I know it's usually people vote for those who they know are in the department.
