www.habbo-newsie.com has stolen our ideas and our name www.habbonewsie.nets! We sent them in an email asking them to find a new name or close very nicely and this is the email we were sent back:
"Nah sorry mate, i cant do that. I didnt even know that this was a fansite, cant be that popular, eh?
Anyway, habbo-newsie is soon to be official, and callie has already been notified. So theres not much u can do ;]"
Look how Selfish and Mean They Are! They Shouldnt Be Allowed To Be Official As We have been around 5 years>Apposed to a couple of months

Christ...
Marcus (Westbury) has NOT "Ripped" your site, i see no content from the site you work/own nor a template,
He might have not known with your site, though you cannot take illegal actions against him as it's a Habbo fansite and will be pritty pointless !
If you keep emailing him, suspect him to email Sulake or your host as your abuse'ing HIM and watch what will happen then.
Sorry But doing anything to stop Marcus and his site building will not work,

It Seems We CAN And We Will Stop At No Cost We Have Shut Down Many Many Sites With Our Layout And Name! But If They Wont we may team together if Marcus Agrees To Become One Big Fansite

The only idea what you say he has "stolen" though is the name? so i doubt nothing will happen with it.

Hey,
I have had the same problem before. Clearly having a - in the domain can seperate it from your site. There is nothing you can do! This happend with me and v-habbo.tk. We bought a .com with vhabbo.com and we just left it as we did not have the time.
You should just leave it, unless you have the money for a legal battle which i doubt. You can also purchase the domain off him etc.

Habbo-Newsie.com has a badly made layout (look at the marquee at the top)...
Your site has nothing on it :$
They can't become official anyway, the site is pretty basic and the owner seems a bit snobbish..
Plus I doubt you can have a site closed down by a name, there is a difference, one is .com and one is .net, plus HabboNewsie and Habbo-Newsie are obvious popular names.

Hi, im not 'snobbish' and we can become official if we want. As i already own a official fansite, the officiality can be swopped over. Anyway, i donot own the site anymore. So go take it out on the new owner.

OMG This is stupid.
1. Theres a different in the domain name and from what i see he's not violating any Terms and Conditions.
2. He's not ripped [ Stole ] any copyrighted images/layouts/content from you.
3. I think your just really jealous of the other website as your frightened it may be better "/

Kevin, your not going to win this battle.
If you want the domain this much, either buy it off them, or get your solicitor to write them a letter. You don't have much choice, and I highly doubt your going to win.
Next time, if your going to be like this, order all the domains that match your domain.
