I definitely would!
Would you kill someone?
Would you torch someone alive and then peal there skin off?
Would you rip someones toe nails off and then chock them on them?
Yeah I'd break the law for a loved one

Jesus this got very morbid all of a sudden lmfao!
I'd kill someone if I had to. Like if someone was going to throw my girlfriend off a building unless I shot them, I'd shoot them straight in the head without thinking
That's just unnecessary
As is the third one

Not at all. If they were asking me to break the law for them then they clearly don't love me back :S

Well yeah, this! If they asked me to do something irrational like steal a show off a homeless man or something I'd be like ***** please but if it were to save their life I'd be like yh ok then

they don't have to ask u to break the law, u can take it into ur own hands. like phil said about if someone was about to kill ur loved one so u kill them first, although I'm not sure if that would be against the law? could it count as self defence? Bt yh I wouldn't steal for my friends or kill someone or lie about their whereabouts, help cover up for them etcc

Even if it is aginst the law, you saved who you actually care about so y'know

If someone was threatening to kill, say, your dad so you killed them first that wouldn't be self defense would it? I don't really know the laws but I guess it would count as one of the types of manslaughter rather than murder.
And I hadn't really thought about situations where this loved one was going to die. I was just talking about stealing or committing fraud or something. I guess it would depend on the situation if their life was involved.

well there's a difference between threatening and the person actually having attacked your loved one! and yeah manslaughter but i doubt you'd get anything providing there's evidence you did it to protect someone but still I would do it even if there was that risk.

What law and save them from what I wouldn't commit genocide to save my cat from falling off his chair
Depending on the relationship, the law I'm expected to break and the situation
Chug!

As Jazz says, depends on the relationship.
Family member, yes.
Relationship, yes.
Friend for more than a year/2, yes.
Friend I've known for 30mins, no.
depends who it was and what i had to do bc it might not be worth the hassle

It wouldn't be etic if we had a chance to save a life and choose respect the law.
ya i would but depends on the situation

Sure... if I didn't get caught.
I don't really like people, let alone love any of them. Hell, I'd put my future before my mother's and she would agree with me doing so.
Maybe I'm just selfish. :L

Everything kinda depends. Saying you would do it now is much different than really being in the situation at that time. That's when you question your relationship with someone, whether it's worth it or not.
You can break the law in minor or major ways. Whatever it be, yes I would.

Yeah, think you are :P

I can admit that.
After all, being selfish is the key to success. Also, my mum would rather I lived a full life than throw it away for her benefit at her age. :)

Well it depends how serious it was, but I probably would.
I can admit that.

That really is an awful outlook to life and your mum! Selfishness isn't the key

So if you were a 50 year old with a child that had their entire life to live, you'd want them to ruin their lives by ending up in prison for your benefit?
I know what I'd prefer.

it really depends on the situation for me. i would only break the law if their life was in danger.

This makes me feel like playing Heavy Rain again.
But, it really depends on the situation. More than likely I would, yes.

That doesn't make sense? I'm not saying that hut just because your
Mum is 50, doesn't mean she hasn't got any life left to live, she's only half way bloody there in my opinion! Fair enough you're young but it's not all about you. Removed who brought
you into this world.

I'd kill someone if I had to, but obviously if there was another way then I'd go for that, even if it meant putting myself at risk.
But I'd never torture someone as that would never need to happen (And I'm too squeemish anyway)
So yeah.
Yeah I would, but idk about torturing someone though.

I'm not saying that she doesn't have a life to live, of course she does - but my mum would be furious if I gave up/ruined my life for hers.
I am very aware that it isn't all about me, but my mum isn't selfish enough to have me ruin my life for her - just as I wouldn't be if I were to ever have children.
Not that this scenario will ever happen, but that's how we would prefer it. Yes, we.

i would like torture someone definitely (i get sadistic pleasure so) , don't think i would do much else though, and definitely not kill someone. but i would only do that in very severe circumstances since i wouldn't want to ruin my life particularly

My post was supposed to say remember.
I still disagree with your outlook on life. Yes I know what you are saying about your mum would be furious by the fact you know this and would go with it offends me! Id put my mum first even though
I know she'd make sure I carried out my dream if I really wanted to, but the way you're saying it is coming across very selfish

As you are more than welcome to.
Let's just agree to disagree that we have different outlooks, just as we have both had, from what I can assume, very different upbringings that lead to these outlooks.

depends on the severity of the law obviously, but if it wasn't anything bad like killing someone or something then yeah. i love him :)
