The anti-Christmas storm

Has anyone else been hit by this massive storm? My windows are leaking ATM, water everywhere! Thankfully it's only my room and the study directly below me, but I'm hoping it doesn't get worse. Lights keep flickering, would hate a power cut!

So not feeling very jolly.

The other half of our village has no power apparently. Just strong wind here and a lot of rain, but no flooding. Not too bad, but that's because we're not south :P

How far south are you? I'm just south of London, thankfully I live on a hill though, so no flooding :3 I think my village has flooded though, guessing from Facebook posts

In the East Midlands, so not south at all really :P We weren't even in the weather warning areas, but the wind has still been stronger than normal.

quite windy here. We are meant to be getting up to 80-90 mph winds. Our tv has flickered a few times.

No storm whatsoever up here. We had heavy rain earlier but nothing like what you mentioned. I think all this poor weather has affected my Christmas mood, want snow! :(

Just been out shopping this morning, branches, roadworks, even bits of brick are just everywhere. The plastic facing on my house/roof join bit has nearly all fallen off as well. Probably the worst storm I've ever seen!

Had no issues in the Manchester area. Just normal rain and wind really - I know the airport here got quite a few of diverts that were meant to go to one of the London airports during the night.

It's just a bit windy and rainy here, it was worst the other week in the tidal surge that caused loads of flooding. The greenhouse finally gave in to the wind though because one of the panels got blown out this morning and ended up in next doors garden :')

i walked to tesco earlier to buy gravy and saw quite a few trees on the floor which wasnt goood
thankfully it isnt as windy anymore though woo it's just rainy

yes it was really bad and whilst i was at work yesterday and the power went so the back up generator had to kick in. had lots of flooding and the wind blew down lots of trees D: !!!

Nothing but the usual wind and rain which we've had for a few days. Hopefully it wont get worse and cause any travel issues.
