Ok, I am really sorry If your a shading expert adn already new this, or it isn't the "right" info, I'm Sorry. But there is no reason to be mean about it because some people don't know how to shade. Ok, If your like me... You only have paint, and am NOT good at it, lol, Then Here.

Sometimes You're alts just look bad without shading.... I Know.... and without it you get critizized! Well, All you really have to do is figure out HOW the real shading would go... or where.... and then double click on one of the colors and a pop-up will come up, and at the bottom there will be a button that says "Customise Colors". Click on that and find a gray-ish Shade of Black (Does that make sence?!) And click 'ADD THIS TO (whatever goes here)". Then It will be there in your color table Temporaraly. Then Just figure out how it would look good, and color it.

Please remeber not to make too much shades or too little, if it's too much it might look like a hole is beside your object, and too little, you might not be able to see it. Oh! And, Remember!! Try to make lines etc. Straight, and I promise that your alts will be smooth, and beautiful!!
:eusa_danc I]Thanks For Reading and good Luck with your Alts![/I] :eusa_danc

That's just the basics; that won't teach people how to shade professional, try www.spriteart.com for good pixel tutorials.

But an alt with no shading isn't an alt. Good beginner tutorial though.
