Ke$ha checks into rehab

Ke$ha has gone to rehab for an eating disorder ... TMZ has learned.

Sources connected to the singer tell TMZ ... she's at Timberline Knolls near Chicago, the same place Demi Lovato went for her issues.

We're told the singer -- who's a vegetarian -- was admitted early this morning.

BUT THAT IS SAD
espec if it was because of taunts of other people, seeing as shes very much a 'idc what people think' kinda person, it'd be horrible to think she did it cause of other ppl

I'm happy that Ke$ha has acknowledged that she needed help, and has sought help for it. It's certainly not something that is easy to do.

I think in general society puts a lot of pressure on celebrities and has an attitude that celebrities are not "regular" people and therefore can handle loads more pressure, but in reality, they are people just like the rest of us and are not immune to feeling the hardships of constant public scrutiny.

She looks good in her 2011 photo :/ The people who label others like this deserve to be criticised for everything they do, they're such horrid people. if anything, they seem a bit insecure judging others over something petty like weight, body shape or just overall look.

it's nobody's fault at people blaming her manager.
she tried to stop eating because she was fat and apparently collapsed and was admitted to rehab that's her own business but i hope she does get better! x

It's like anyone of us going to hospital after collapsing. It shouldn't be a big deal and is something quite private, yet publicising it adds unwanted and damaging public interest. It just screams "judge her!"

Bit of a bump but according to a few news sources this happened;


A week later, her mother, Pebe Sebert ... Now, Sebert has opened up to People magazine about her daughter's painful journey.

"I've watched my beautiful, self-confident, brilliant daughter be berated and ridiculed for her looks and weight to the point that she almost died," Sebert told People. "One time on a conference call, [Ke$ha's former manager, David Sonenberg] was screaming, 'You need to lose weight! I don't care what you do ... take drugs, not eat, stick your finger down your throat!'"

"Ke$ha was just weeping. She drove around afterward thinking about killing herself."
