I was really happy this morning until we had dance. We had to perform because our teacher just came back and I've been put with the worst people and I didn't want to do it... then they did it and just stood there in front of every1 like what? but miss gave me a dirty look and it made me so socially awkward and no im like a stressed goldfish

Endless revision in a silly situation.

I'm taking a module where the exam is tomorrow, and it's a really hard exam and very unpredictable. I've been getting anywhere between 50% to 75% on practice papers so to predict what outcome I'll get in the real exam is hard enough. Plus I know I'll only scrape a first if I'm lucky, to be honest it will be a challenge to pass (40%).

But I'm at the stage now, after almost a month of revising (a couple of hours a day (most days) for 3 weeks and then 5-6 hours a day everyday for the last week), where I feel I can't get any better. I can't learn it anymore, I can't have a better understanding so anymore studying won't benefit me and I might do better if I just relax now and get ready for tomorrow. But of course, being me, I will feel guilty if I waste they last precious hours not revising. But to be honest I've been distracted all day and not got as much done as I'd have liked.

That's really annoying.

Having to deal with 400 euros of mistakes because of said member of staff.
Having to deal with the electricians and contractors on two Thursday mornings from 8-10 rather than my supervisor.

It's strange, up until a few days ago I strongly believed planting hedges is a bad idea in the winter, but for many types of plants it's actually the best, particularly hedge plants (particularly conifers).

It's certainly the cheapest. :P Planning on buying rootball plants of Copper Beech to plant along the front wall in a few weeks. £2.50 odd for each 40cm plant whereas if I bought a 2ft to 4ft Copper Beech in the summer in a pot it'd cost like £15+ at the very least.

Or I might go for a Yew hedge which is traditional but conifer. Unsure as of yet but learning towards the Copper beech!

Yeah I do like Yew after experiencing it in the area where my university halls were, I might plant a single Yew Tree in the garden at some point and replace one of the Cherry trees. I'm attracted to the Copper Beech because it's a nice change from green, green, green.

Might be Chrysantha - it's an evergreen so it can also work as a hedge but it's not as thick as the typical ones so it tends to look nice mixed with hedges to add colour as and when they bloom.

Copper beech is nice, but it depends on what's around it. It should look nice with your house if my memory of the front of it from your flag pole thread is anything to go by :P

People! So I'm out shopping, casually looking on the shelves for something that I actually need (I wasn't just browsing, I actually needed to make a proper, good choice about buying something!) Anyways, This couple just stood there with their trolley blocking the aisle, so I said 'excuse me, please.' Ignored. So a bit louder I said, 'Sorry, excuse me, I need to look here (pointing to the shelf)'. Still nothing! So I just thought, enough is enough, I refuse to be polite anymore and just squeezed in, they still didn't move when they could see I clearly had to push past them.

So I'm trying to look, but they are letting their two kids (about 2/3yrs and about 5/6yrs) run around me, they are smashing the items on the shelf and about 4 things were physically dented and damaged and the mother just stood there watching while the dad looked at products on the adjacent shelf. These kids were screaming and running around and pushing past me. I actually wanted to yell at them for touching me. Especially considering one had a dreadful cough and she was just germing all over me! Eventually I was so sick of it that I just stood frozen so it was clear that they were bugging me and glared at the girl (the elder of the 2 kids) while the boy continued to smash his hand on the items of the shelf and ruin them and his mum started to look at the items on the shelf that he was so obviously trying to get her attention with. Then when she put the items down he'd scream that he wanted them.

These parents were absolutely disgraceful, I say the parents because I really can't blame the children for their parents failure to bring them up correctly. The parents were rude, ignorant, and did not care that their children were disturbing and annoying other people or damaging items they did not own. They were a disgrace and if I wasn't so 'keep myself to myself' I would have had a proper go at them because I was so angry. They were disgusting excuses for human beings and really, really p***** me off!

By the time the left the aisle I was furious. The germy girl had touched half of the products so I refused to touch them myself. A further selection of the products had been damaged by the children and to be honest there hadn't been a lot of choice in the first place, but that's not really the point. I couldn't concentrate on what I was buying while those children where pushing around me as I didn't want to step on them or knock them over, nor could I remain calm enough to concentrate when I was getting so obviously annoyed.

Basically, cannot believe how revolting people can behave.
