8 years today I signed up.... a big thanks to all.

Noticed the other day that it's 8 years today (19th January 2006) that I signed up to Habbox. I pretty much used to visit the UK News and Rumours forum just to read rumours about the hotel + see unreleased rares and eventually decided to sign up after a few months. Then got my room (Trade Away) on Habbo sponsored by Habbox (8Freak8 came into my room and asked) and shortly afterwards got into the Rare Values Department after being hired by smiddy1234.

It's kind of scary that 8 years now of my rather short life have been spent on this forum - well apart from two or so years in the middle when I was permanently banned by ---MAD--- :P

But this is just a thanks to everyone on the forum and to the forum staff themselves for helping me to quell hours of boredom throughout the years - whether it's just me reading posts, having made friends on here over the years (too many to name!) or debating endlessly with you in the Current Affairs forum. I have and do enjoy it immensely. :)

Without milking it, a big thanks to everyone and long may it continue.

Anybody else out there who is coming up to the 8 years mark? I'm sure there's a few of you who have been around since the same time as me and it's amazing that so many of us are still active. I haven't a clue when i'll pack it in, probably when the forum closes one day.

Haha thanks Alice, the same applies to you almost certainly. :)

My forum name has always been the same on here since I joined but with a lower case 'U' like my Habbo account but I got it changed to a capital years ago. I ended up with two forum accounts at one point though because the original was banned by ---MAD--- but I eventually got the newer one merged into this. So yeah, it's pretty much always been the same. The reason for the Undertaker of course is my Habbo name which was picked because I was into WWE at the time.
