Mine used to take my favourite toy away or not let me play out the front.

They would just verbally tell me off.

They used to make me stay in my room for a few days and only allowed me to come out during meal times. Then they realised that I didn't mind it so they started turning the internet off instead.

I wasn't very often naughty. But if I was my dad would shout (scary bloke), sometimes my parents would tell me to put out my hand and I'd get a little smack. I don't think I was ever sent to my room or grounded though...

As far as I'm aware I was an extremely good child. If I was naughty I'm sure all that happened was I was told off. I was very quiet though as a child and a right mummy's ladie

Got clipped round the ear more than a couple of times I think. Oh and I used to get sent to sit on the stairs because apparently that's the "most effective discipline" (no idea where they got that from though lol). Anyway that happened for a time but one time they forgot about me when I was like 10 and they went off to watch a film upstairs and then went to bed. So I went upstairs and asked them if I could get up yet and they were so apologetic and guilty. Never happened again after that.

The usual way really it was either taking away things I enjoyed such as video games and so on, send me to my room or just verbally tell me off.

We had a naughty corner where you'd have to stand for prob on average 45 minutes til you learnt your lesson hahahahaha and if me and my brother pissed dad off we'd just not be able to watch tv during dinner because that's clearly a massive deal

Mum used to try the naughty step thing but we apparently liked it for some reason like "stop that do you want to sit on the naughty step" "YES PLEASE" which was somewhat exasperating for her I suppose. Other than that just a simple bash in the face with a hot frying pan would do the trick nah don't think we ever got hit anywhere but the arris. I've only been grounded once and that was when I told my sister she was had whiskers and she cried idk

Depends on what we did. Stole something? Hit on both palms with clothing hanger. Just being generally naughty? Hit on the bottoms with either clothing hanger or belt or sometimes made to kneel on beans or salt.

When I was younger they smacked me.

When I got older they couldn't discipline me, nothing they threatened would work (because I wanted to leave) and they wouldn't hit me anymore.

my mum would take her slipper off of her foot and chase me upstairs with it and sometimes lock me in the cellar which made me upset but my dad used to make me bend over on his knee and he would whip me with his belt when he came home from work

I always got the belt, or the hand. Whichever came first. Other than that- if I swore, I got the soap.

Umm I got smacked and parents would chase us with threats of abuse and we would just run to our bedrooms and cower in fear. Wish I had known child line number!!! My parents are much more liberal wih younger sister and when I'm there it normally falls to me to tell her she's being a brat.
