Bieber arrested for drag racing & DUI (video of arrest)

Justin Bieber was arrested for DUI ... TMZ has learned.

Law enforcement tells us ... Bieber was busted in Miami Beach and it didn't end with DUI ... he was also busted for drag racing.

The arrest occurred early Thursday morning.

Bieber is now in custody and is at the police department where he is being tested -- presumably to more precisely measure his blood alcohol level. Our law enforcement sources say Justin was given a field sobriety test at the scene ... and failed.

His next stop will be jail, where he will be booked and processed and bail will be set.

We're told Bieber had just left a club and was driving a yellow Lamborghini at the time cops spotted him in a residential neighborhood. Sources say the person Justin was racing was also arrested -- he was in a red Lambo.

Justin had a passenger in the car -- a model.

Based on what we know ... the traffic stop was for drag racing and cops determined he was driving under the influence.

The police report says ... Bieber was defiant from the get go, yelling at the cops, "Why the **** are you doing this? He also yelled, "What the **** did I do. Why did you stop me?"

When the officer tried to perform a routine pat down, Bieber said, "I ain't got no ******* weapons, why do you have to search me? What the **** is this about?"

Now the basis for the resisting arrest charge -- Before the pat down, as Bieber got out of the car, he "kept going into his pants pocket." The cop ordered him to put his hands on the vehicle, and Bieber initially complied but soon took his hands off the car, turned and then cussed out the cop.



Bieber was driving a yellow Lamborghini that police saw drag racing a Ferrari in a residential area of Miami Beach, police spokesman Bobby Hernandez said

Bieber showed "signs of impairment" and failed a field sobriety test, Hernandez told CNN. He was then taken into custody and booked on a drunken driving charge, he said.

Two SUVs "actually blocked the traffic at 26th and Pine Street so that they could race on Pine Street, almost making it like a makeshift race track," Hernandez said.

The Ferrari's driver, whom Hernandez called "an associate of Bieber," was also arrested on a drunken driving charge, he said. That person has not yet been publicly identified.

He sort of did. He hit someone with his car a few months back and didn't stop. It may have been a paparazzi but still, you do not drive into someone. He shouldn't be driving really. Didn't he get in trouble in the UAE for something similar? Over there they take crime seriously, but somehow the dangerous child was let loose to plague America once more. At least in the UK we've managed to scare him away.

I doubt he will be punished. He had to pay a bond of like $2000 but that would be nothing to him. I hate how celebrities do all this stuff and they don't get punished. Justin Bieber thinks he is invincible and can do whatever he wants. He needs to be taught a lesson..
