View Full Version : HabboxForum.com Editing CNB Posts
So Skynus showed me I had to use the Habboxed skin to edit any CNB posts and that is now the only skin that allows me to edit CNB posts. I use the 2010 skin and the Habboxed Skin makes me feel sick and hurts my eyes and I was wondering if that is easily fixed so that all skins can edit it or whether my mac doesn't like the other skins idk.

So thats why I can't edit my Cnb's or is it just for you few with mod there?
Well It never allowed me to do it with my own posts and it confused me so much lmao, but I assumed it was something to do with perms or idk. Just wondered what the reason was behind it really.

Maybe a combination of skin and permission issue. I have full admin and moderator permissions to all forums and the editor loads just fine on the skins you use normally. I'll have to get back to you on this one - I've seen it before but can't remember how we resolved it in the past.

I'm not really 100% on this issue and I can never really replicate it. No matter what I do, I end up being able to edit threads.
Can you list me the following:
- OS
- Browser
- Skin
- Threads you can't edit (if any specific).
Can you do it too, Dragga;?

I can edit all threads no problem on the classic skin. I'll test the others, though :)
Edit: I just tested them and all of the skins work perfectly for me. I can edit the title and thread fine.

Oh, sorry, I meant Dragga; haha! No idea why I mentioned you.

Skynus; Dragga can't edit as it's just Senior+ who can/should.

I read this post, but discussion continued after about perms so I made sure everyone knew :P. Rather odd though, so hopefully it gets fixed lol.

The OS and browser isn't the issue by the way.

I couldn't remember if someone had a mac and they had a problem - I wasn't sure if it could've just been on mac and a mix of **** I DON'T KNOW I AM THINKING OF POSSIBILITIES. If you're so knowledgeable with the issue, I'm sure you can fix it when you're home in seconds so I'll leave you to it :P

Happens on both operating systems from what I saw before :P
It's related to skin/permission error I think.

Hey, can you try and see if you can edit a post in the CNB now for me?
Also, I've found that it's only a few skins that allow you to edit the title of a thread after you've posted it, which is annoying!
It works!!! Thanks guys. xxMATTGxx; Skynus;
Um is there a way to get rid of it saying all the coding things when you edit it and just make it happen. So when I make something bold it actually goes bold not put [B] [B/] around it? xxMATTGxx;

If you go to User CP > General Settings and find Miscellaneous Options and it will be the first setting, you wanna choose the WYSIWYG editor because you only have a standard editor at the moment.

Sorry that was my fault when I was looking at the different editor settings you had selected.
