I'm having problems lately with outbreaks in weird places, just under my jawline, on my right temple and over my shoulders/ back of neck. It's not noticeable at all but you know, when you KNOW something's there it's all you can think about and I get quite paranoid!
It's really weird - I've not changed anything really for years about cleaning routines, and I've never been that prone to breakouts anywhere, just the odd one around where I don't look after my skin that well.
My mum's said they're breaking out where my hair is usually around my face, which is actually true, but I haven't worn my hair up for years really, prefer it down, and I haven't changed anything about shampoo either.
I'm looking for some suggestions about skin cleaning, at the moment I use neutrogena facial scrub usually once a day - but I often forget - and teatree makeup wipes + Clearasil pad thingys in the evening. I also use Clerasil rapid action cream for particularly bad ones, but I've used all of those for years.
Any suggestions would help! Thanks in advance :)

mmmm well i don't mean to brag but my skin is FLAWLESS right now
my routine is
night: take off makeup/clean face with a cotton pad and bioderma (no oil, it's like a water substance)
every second day i'll dilute a bit of tea tree oil with water and dab that on areas like my t zone and under my nose
then alpha h liquid gold, bit of that on a cotton pad and all over the face
obviously you can skip the liquid gold, it's expensive and i only use it to keep my pigmentation even, but if you have dry skin maybe after the bioderma use a moisturiser (mines dermalogica), i'll use one every now and again when my skins particularly dry
morning i'll wipe my face with bioderma again, and then put moisturiser on straight after
haven't had a single spot since i started doing this
i've been having acne outbreaks under my jawline, chin, cheeks and back too. only the ones one my face are noticeable tho and im so frustrated about it! sometimes i even apply some makeup to cover the acne!!

Tea tree oil works wonders! I also use cetaphil as a cleanser in the shower. Also creme intex no 2 by Ella bache is amazing but it smells. All of them have improved my skin.

no for me i think it's because i stopped using heavy products on it
i'm also 21 so i'm out of the teen acne phase, i never really had a bad problem just maybe 1 or 2 on my chin
i guess it differs from person to person
I feel lucky because I only get the odd spot on my chin from my period every few months! I don't use any skincare products apart from lancome cleanser and toner the odd time. But if I was you I would go to the doctor and get proper medicated cream.

mine is pretty simple... wash face go to bed wake up wash face go out :P i don't wear makeup or put any makeup products on my face so i have less outbreaks even though am at that age and should be a spotty teenager :P
drink lots of water, make sure ur washing ur face twice a day but no more. dont eat too much junk food.
but seriously if u even get reasonably bad acne/spots just go to the doctor, i cant express how much it will help. i used to get spots, not too many but i'd get rly stubborn 1s that take sooo long to go away and even after they go it would leave a mark on my face or scar. tried so many acne treatments and wat not and none worked. went to the doctor and tried the zineryt treatment first which was like a bottle and it smelled rly bad but u just apply it to ur face twice a day for 3 months and it made a difference quite quickly and after 2 months made a rly big difference but i was still getting a few spots every couple of weeks and they'd still scar. sooo after the 3 months i went back and they put me on these oral antibiotics and since ive been on them i dont ever get spots rly any more. been on them ever since and if i do get a spot it will be quite rare and it will be a rly small spot which clears up fast. so yh just go to ur doctor if ur unhappy it will make such a big difference.

I would just use spot cream and use face wipes when I wake up and go to sleep so it's clean.

erm don't use face wipes folks they dry out your skin and are super harsh

Yeah I used to get invisible spots all the time :( Like I couldn't see them if I looked in a mirror but I could feel their bumpiness if I put my hand to my face :'(
Umm you have to keep really hydrated (AT LEAST 2 litres each day).
Wash your face just with water and a clean flannel twiceish a day and then moisturise once a day after whenever you shower.
Don't eat anything too sugary or citrusy. Stay away from fizzy drinks in particular!
Exercise if you want but it doesn't really make much of a difference for me..

I use the Clean and Clear exfoliator daily wash thing every day. I feel it does the job because it has the bits in it. :)

I use this warming blackhead/face scrub in the shower in the morning and at night I apply this super thin mask for like 10 minutes which gets rid of impurities and my skin is pretty good.
It only gets bad when I eat a lot of junk food
I don't use anything, and when I do remove makeup, I use Athena makeup wipes. I never break out, but I do know my pores are blocked.. I can squeeze certain areas and sure enough, stuff comes out. (Sorry if tmi) Whenever I've tried using any cleansers on my skin, they make it worse? What to do.
I only use a garnier face scrub and use a a moisturiser afterwards and a cleanser after removing make up at the end of the day.

I got told by a friend who had a problem years back that the Doctor told him the main cause of spots was touching your face.
I think that's true in my own experience.
