IE changed to Chrome?

This may sound really stupid, but my IE has changed to Chrome format. The forum looks how it would on Chrome, the ctrl+f is different, it even comes up 'Google Chrome would like to save this password' which is really odd. Is there any reason why this happened and can I change it?

That happened to me before, on my laptop right after I did a clean install! Chrome hadn't even been downloaded yet I was so shocked.
