I'm writing the script for my drama thing atm but I need help. How do I see the difference between main, supporting and other characters?

Like can someone give me criteria to pick a group for each character... thanks

It's pretty much in the words; the main characters are the ones on whom the focus lays, supporting characters tend to be friends/family/colleagues who play a part in the storyline but aren't in the limelight so much, and others (extras) are the much smaller parts that might just help to show the scenery or pose a question to the main cast

I believe you're a fan of the hunger games so

Main: Katniss, Peeta
Supporting: People like Haymitch, Finnick, Gale, Effie etc.
Cameo: People who just make small appearances

It really depends what their role is and how much they're in it

If those are all the characters involved at the moment then I'd say it's just Elizabeth as the main (since you've noted her as such) and the other 3 as supporting roles, although if they're the only characters that appear at all then you don't really need to make a distinction
