(Reuters) - President Barack Obama told Americans on Tuesday that 2014 should be the year to finally close the U.S. prison at Guantanamo Bay as the United States winds down its military role in Afghanistan and shifts away from a "permanent war footing."

Sounds like a great headline, what a guy. Much better than that Bush fella.

"We are closing Guantanamo!" Barack Obama (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014) #SOTU

Yes... winding down the war effort. Isn't it weird how this guy has started more wars than Bush ever did, yet you'll never ever hear trendy comedians or the BBC calling him a war criminal like they did with Bush. Now ain't that funny? I wonder why that is? Couldn't be anything to do with Republicans=bad // Democrats=good - could it? Still, if he supports gay marriage and 'free' (snort) healthcare then that's ALL that matters innit?

Change you can believe in.
