More than 100 young people were treated by paramedics for the effects of alcohol and, in some cases drugs, at a concert in Belfast.
It is believed many of them arrived at the venue already drunk, following a new trend called 'prinking' or pre-drinking.
Absolutely pissing that pre-drinking is being called a new trend by the BBC but even more so that they've decided to call it PRINKING like has anyone ever actually said that word before and if so be ashamed of yourself

Hahaha, how ridiculous, people have been pre drinking for as long as there has been cheap alcohol and expensive nightclubs.
er yes prinking is a common term. who do you hang about with
"come to mine for some prinks" granted them pre-drinks is more commonly used though

Hang on, the BBC have written hundreds of articles on people drinking at home before going out. Drinks are cheap to buy for private, home use. Surely they can look back at their own articles to notice it isn't a new trend?
