Ok for those who don't know what Jeremy Kyle is (if you live outside UK), it's basically UK version of Jerry Springer. It's a show where families (friends sometimes) and couples come on with their issues likeeee worries about X cheating, or that their mother has a drug addiction etc. it's had like every domestic problem you can imagine. The host (Jeremy Kyle) tries to get a resolution and come to a conclusion that at least partly solves the issue. DNA results and lie detectors are also used.

Do you think these TV shows actually help? As I know they get a lot of stigma for just being places where people can go on and humiliate themselves.

I think with J.Kyle he actually does try and help and cares more about reaching a resolution than Jerry Springer - Jerry Springer (USA) just basically encourages fights and barely solves anything :L.

I've not see a lot of Jerry Springer but what I did see seemed a bit fake like they were fighting in a way that seemed planned. Jeremy Kyle seems a lot more real although like a lot of people, I tend to watch it for entertainment and I suppose to see worse people than you.
