How long can mutes get...?

Ok yesterday at 20:39 i got muted for an hour i think, i didnt really read the notification i was just really pissed off seeing as it was like the 7th mute of the day... well anyway, i log on today and im still muted... how does this work? can you get whole day mutes..? if u cant then can someone explain this lol

The longest I have seen or heard of was 24 hours, but the mods do have an option to customize the time to make it as long as they want :)

But they wont.

The only time you will be muted is 1 or 24 hours. I think.
