2013 was a long year with lots of darma, but 2014 looks to be kicking off with returning a lot of features and improving the communication between Habbos once again.

Group Discussions will be returning as a feature called Message Wall.

Please note, visual graphics are a representation of the imagined Message Wall and the design is not 100% to true form. Message Wall should feature threads, while the replies will be within the threads, but for the purpose of this image I have both included a thread and message within the Message Wall.

Other notes, this message wall appears to be run via the Habbo Server instead of web-based which would mean greater control over filtering posts, as well as moderation etc.

Can't wait for this even tho I didn't use it. Group discussions is so necessary even not for forumers but for like hosting events and keeping track of tournament scoring etc... well that's all I used it for anyway before. It's just a shame decorating pages is so useless now.

It won't. I have a feeling they won't be moderated very well / moderators won't understand how to moderate it and it'll be a big cesspool of trolling. I doubt it would serve any specific functions like this forum does.

They work so quick, had a meeting about this with CrazyAceOne & Birlibirloque and they said they would do what they could and bring it back as quickly as possible only taken less then 3 weeks :P hopefully they bring back all the other ideas i told them in the meeting :P! (Like old events + :history to see who moved what furni)

who cares. people can handle themselves. its pessimism like this that caused the removal of the feature in the 1st place with people being oversensitive. as a result habbo suffered and lost a lot of users.

happy 2 see it back and don't care if its inside of client. i think thats even better tbh.

Depends on how the testing will go. You can actually see some additional information if you click on [?] icon in window title bar.

They're really cool, I would say that this is the best feature Habbo ever made after the merge.

They look a little clunky at the moment. Hard to navigate, can't link friends to threads they might be interested in and not that well set up. It would be better if when the forum tab opened there were options such as latest posts / hot groups so you could find where decent conversation is taking place, much like you can on here.

Also, it seems that they want them user moderated. This is fine and understandable... but impossible. Say you remove someone from the group who is 'trolling' there is nothing to stop them from coming back into the group and doing it again. If you make the group request only then that totally defeats the point of having public boards because conversation will become boring and restricted.

Maybe if you could ban people from joining groups... idk though because then you would have people joining on clones. From the message written in the group it suggests that if they are misused they won't be implemented for all users yet there are not adequate tools for us to moderate them (from what I've seen so far).

Good idea, needs a lot of work however.

Same here,

Search "ERICYUM" request membership to my group, once I let you in you can also test the forums :). We were told to make sure no one abuses the forums so will have to remove if you don't follow the Habbo Way :D

I know, I'm just giving my opinions on what it is now just like everybody else is. That's the point in beta testing, to fix out flaws.

Click on the badge, go down to "view group forum" and then it will take you there :P
