Hi Guys,
I've been thinking of a new competition/league to do with other people. And i have thought of the idea of a walls league.
HOW THIS WILL WORK
This will be in a standard league format, which will be edited by myself (the league). The idea is to have 2v2v2v2, preferably a group of 4, however if there is a few teams of two we can work it out.
EACH TEAM MUST HAVE A TEAM NAME AND TEAM CAPTAIN
3 POINTS FOR A WIN - THIS INCLUDES THE OTHER TEAM NOT BEING ON TIME (HOWEVER ALLOW 15 MINUTES FOR ALL MEMBERS TO GET TOGETHER)
1 POINT FOR A LOSS (AS DRAWS ARE NOT AVAILABLE)
-3 POINTS FOR NOT SHOWING UP
Once you have played each team twice, the winner will receieve something from myself. I have been thinking something like £20-30 steam vouchers for you to share with your group/partner.
The map will change (hopefully) each time you play a team, however i cannot gurantee that you will not play a map you have already played. (Due to limited maps) The games will be hosted on my private server, and will be limited to 9 players. If a referee is required.
START DATES/PLAY TIMES
The date is to be confirmed however once we have an even amount of teams (minimum of 6) you will be contacted with a start date.
With regards to playing, you can contact me via e-mail and I can set-up a game with the other team via their e-mails. At no point will i share your e-mails, only i will know them. You will just know a date, time and map, which you can change if you are not happy. Once you agree, and the match is set-up, if you want to cancel or change the time/date, you must do so at the very least 2 days before the game, otherwise the points will be awarded to the other team.
YOUTUBE
If you are recording to put onto youtube, as my team will be, I would be grateful if you could link either our website or youtube channel into your description. I can also make you some thumbnails which will probably be universal.
KEEPING TRACK OF UPDATES/GAMES/ETC
We have a forum that i will be making a private section for. If you register on the forum, i can add you to a user group in which you will be able to have your own sections. For example, there will be a main section in which you can talk and keep upto date with the league standings. But, once you have decided on a team name and have a captain, you will be given a private forum to have whatever you want on there (you must tell me the name of your players on the forum, so i can add them to your user group). Whether it be game schedules or updates for your team - no other team will be able to view these threads.
I think that is everything, if you would like to ask any questions, please feel free to reply on here or private message me, however i recommend replies on here. If you would like to sign up for the league, please leave your skype name and i will add you in due course. Then i can take your e-mails where i will send any details you require.
ANY TEAM FOUND CHEATING - THROUGH MORE PLAYERS OR JOINING THE SERVER WHILST A GAME IS RUNNING WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM THE LEAGUE AND ALL SUBSEQUENT POINTS GAINED OR LOST FROM THAT TEAM WILL BE TAKEN AWAY FROM THE OTHER TEAMS.
