Would the "Load time" not be the best one to look at Aiden? :P If so, then hffm is literally 0.01 s behind habbox so it's not that large a problem.

Double the size so going to take longer to load, hffm has lowest size and still almost on par with hx.

Requests afaik is amount of back end requests the page is sending out
So for hxf, it'll request a bunch of CSS files, a bunch of JavaScript files, a bunch of images, google adverts, and so on
The page size is double, and the number of requests is triple that of ThisHabbo though, so it's gonna take longer to load.

That doesn't mean it's good? Surely Habbox can try to make it better.

Yeah definitely, just saying that it's not exactly a fair comparison :P

It's very fair. Both do the exact same thing. It's not like I've compared it will a company with billion pound servers lol.
Habbox is loading the most though so its bound to take loner but being a tiny bit slower with like double the amount is good I think. Dunno what you're on about skandair

Habboxforum page is the biggest(and the most requested), so It will take more time to load, 1 or 2 seconds waiting wont make any difference.
Im sure you are able to wait 1.45 seconds

Let's be serious about this, do you have problems loading the forum and threads? I've not experienced any slowness today or within the past couple of weeks.
I can post, edit and do everything else very quickly. So I'm not sure if this is even a problem.

Requests doesn't mean more people are using the page btw.

thats 20 mins a day
x 1 week
140
x 4 weeks
560
x 1 year
6720
thats 112 hours a year
just on load time

That's absolutely ridiculous and so irrelevant. It really doesn't make a different, at all.

1.45 seconds x 500 isn't 20 minutes,
500 loads a day is 725 seconds which is 12 minutes
1 day: 12 mins
1 week: 84 mins (1hr 24 min)
1 month: 6 hours
1 year: 72 hours

Average page to load is something like 1second or 700ms.

Best leave and move to a quicker forum then, although it's not exactly as if you can do anything better with those 72 hours of 'loading time', since you can't exactly do much in a second anyway.

Indeed, google takes approx 1.65s to load so each time you google you'll waste more of your life on it then hxf

i could do a lot with 72 hours tho

Then go do it, you waste a lot more than 72 hours of your week on hxf nvm your year. So it doesn't matter.

Well, for you to get those 72 hours, you would need HxF to have a load time of 0 seconds, so if you want 72 hours, you're going to have to leave the forum.

Also worth noting that it's unlikely that you'll load HxF 500 times a day, so you won't get 72 either, so looks like it's a lose-lose situation we have.

Probably something to do with having a million files in the clientscript folder and the whole of jquery being loaded for just coloured usernames.

The forum speed has been fine and seems at it's best compared to what we've experienced in the past.
