Official fansite application opens

It says in the article that "Do YOU have a fansite that you want to become official? Or are you the owner/admin of a fansite that is already official and want it to remain on the list?" so I believe all the current official fansite would have to resubmit their application again.

Anyone submitting theirs? :D

I just came back to habbo from a 2 years break and I've only heard of a few unofficial ones like habboquest, they definitely stands a chance if they applied for it for having a strong existence as a fansite as well as guides for various competitions.

Good luck to habulous though, I remember that site existing during my era too. Habulo.us? :)

Habboquests won't have any chance, Habbo staff detest 'cheat sheet' sites; the same happened with HabboSecrets last year.

We normally keep the badges to Jin and myself. Just the fact that most of the time the other members of management leave more frequently and we do not want to hassle Sulake with the badge request changes.

Thanks Cody designed all of the layouts and stuff, he's great at coding. Lot's of fansites (official and non official) have been going to him for help now :)

New ones are going to get priority. Believe me or not, it's true. I'd expect a few changes and no fansites are definitely safe. Staff have said they want to keep the same amount and give new ones an opportunity and will use this as a chance to rotate. So some of the biggest sites might be missing. They might not be, I have no idea - staff have given that indication though.

HabboQuests won't be official.

Kitchen approached me this morning and said a lot of the official sites were nervous about being removed for the new batch.. she said this is just a rumour, and that as long as all official sites are doing the same amount of work they were when they entered and their content is up to date there is no reason they will be removed. she has mentioned theres no limit on how many sites they're allowed to have or aim to have and that all fansites will be considered. The original fansites only have to 'reapply' because its all fair.. its not really an application, just a check over to ensure everythings still up to date and working well..

I think removing some sites might be a good idea in the sense that it will motivate the sites that are currently slacking (won't mention names) to host more events and contribute more to the community than they currently are. Scare them a bit is all I'm saying. It can't hurt.

It's a miracle official fansites even still exist. Can't help but think they chuck the title around but I guess it gives them recognition.
