Mostly presentation and smell. I'll only eat it if it passes those two tests!

The smell really is my first impression on food. Then, on how it looks. :)

Presentation is usually very important, I suppose it makes it taste better than it actually is.

One of the things I want to do before I die is visit America and try some of their roadside foods like the burger above. Wonderful. :P

for me smell and taste come foremost, though there is a few things i will suffer the smell of to eat if it's put infront of me, ie meringue
smell is also what makes me like crave meat a lot when people eat it around me tbh, and makes me ever so want to eat it even though i have no idea what it tastes like cause of being a veggie. so yea i'd say smell makes me judge the food the most before eating it, but obviously taste will be most important in all.

i couldn't really care less about presentation tbh, like curry is pretty much slop on your plate yet it's like my favourite food.

Probably judge it on smell more than anything. If it smells gross but looked great I probably wouldn't eat it lol.

But yeah Smell and Presentation.
