Westboro Baptist Church Founder is Dying.

Fred Phelps, founder of the virulently antigay Westboro Baptist Church, notorious for its “God Hates ****” protests at numerous funerals and concerts, is “near the edge of death” in a Topeka, Kansas hospice, according to a Facebook message posted by his son Nathan Phelps.
Nathan, who split from the church in 1976 and eventually became an LGBT and child abuse advocate in Canada, also reveals that his 84-year-old father was ex-communicated from Westboro last August, but doesn’t reveal the reason.

actually I wouldn't. :S Yes, he and his group have done unthinkable things but imo it doesnt warrant doing the exact same thing we condemn them for. an eye for an eye n all that. plus everybody knows that wbc WANT people to picket him. they crave the attention.

I'm not one to revel in the death of another human being, but I can't say this is upset or saddening in any way. I don't care about him now that he's alive and I won't give a **** once he's dead either. All he does is promote hatred and intolerance so it's not like the world will lose anything once he's gone.

The families of those dead soldiers funerals which he ruined should damn well picket the funeral. Judging from the press release that karter posted, it's obviously what the Westboro Trolling Church wants, but you know what? Let them have it.
