This is what annoys me. You think just because we smoke means we havnt been taught the dangers! Course we bloody have, iv seen all these black lungs, yellow teeth ect. Im 16 in a few days. I no what there doing to MY body, I no each one takes 7 minutes off MY life and i no its MY choice to smoke. I no I should quit but tbh i cant be bothered at the moment! I get kinda ****ed off when people smoke in public, my best friend has a weak chest due to an illness she has, so she can't go in pubs etc, that's why I want smoking to be banned from public spaces, because yes it does harm others.

I enjoy smoking. That simple. Most of the smokers I know are calm and laid back and most of the non-smokers I've seen are prissy and better than thou. I hate talking on the phone so whenever I HAVE to talk on the phone I usually light one up. They're good time spacers in conversations. There's been many times that I've met people when they've asked to bum a cigarette or a light and I've even gotten a few relationships through encounters like that because it gives you a reason to stand/sit there and carry on a conversation and get to know a stranger better.

There are many things that will kill you, smoking is just one of them. I don't recommend kids smoking though as they get costly and most kids don't have the money to pay for the addiction. I spend about $20 a week on cigarettes. I'd go into the whole cigarettes are bad for your health speech but that'd make me a hipocrate.

I used to smoke.

But i didnt get really badly addicted,
but it was still hard to give up,
When i did give up,
I went to the hospital,
To see how my health was,
And it didnt seem to effect me that much,

I smoke, and yes its very hard to quit. I quit for quit a few months and started back smoking cuz I was all stressed out. Its expensive, its tastes gross, it makes my mouth dry and it makes me smell.... but i love it LOL

I've tried, cept the cigs were damp, and there was no puff in it, and then I tried a pipe at another friend's, this guy that smokes dope n cr*P. He said there's banana leaf which when you smoke gets you high for about a min or two, but he won't get any for me, mmf

It's more of the accessibilty than the peer pressure once you get older that gets you. I don't think I've ever been peer pressured into doing something I wouldn't have already done although I'm a pretty curious person and want to see for myself why I shouldn't do something rather than just be told not to.

When I'm having a conversation with a non-smoker I try to keep the smoke out of their face... but that's just courtesy. Unless they're being annoying about it and then I return the favor.

Good to see that the non-smoking ads worked for this generation though. Hope you kids keep up with it.
