Today I was thinking about how to improve wired, and I think I've come up with a good idea. I thought it would be interesting if Habbo implemented the ability to set more than one configuration for any given trigger/effect, sort of like how mood lights have three different configurations, and set them to automatically alternate over a period of time. Allow me to explain.
Let's use WIRED Trigger: User Walks On Furni as an example. Say you wanted to design a maze for the upcoming Got Game. A portion of the maze requires users to take a certain path of chairs in order to move on to the next room. If they sit on the wrong chairs they are teleported back to the start. Being able to add two more configurations (and thus two more paths) that alternate after a set period of time would make creating cheat guides much more difficult. HabboQuests would have to record all three paths and put up a screenshot of each, something that takes 3x as much effort than if there was only one set path that never changed. It might discourage them, and it would also prevent room owners from having to change wired midway through a competition in order to limit cheating.
If you don't understand yet, here's another example. Say a portion of your maze requires users to say a specific furni motto from a group of furni in the room in order to move on to the next stage, or for that matter any telephrase-type challenge. Normally HabboQuests would go in, record the answer, and then post it to their website. If it were possible to add two other configurations (and thus two other questions/answers) that changed after a set period of time, they would have to find a total three furni mottos or answers in order to complete their guide. Again, 3x the effort is needed.
Now, this is simply an idea of mine. I don't really expect anyone from Sulake to read it or actually attempt to implement it. It's just something I thought might be useful in stopping sites like HabboQuests from posting the answers to fansite mazes and events.
