You know the leprechaun and gnome nests? that they brought out for like 3 days? then removed? They're back! Does anyone else find this really annoying? Why take them out of the shop let the price dramatically increase then put them back in a week later :l

Thread moved by Nick (Forum Super Moderator): From 'Habbo In General' as i feel it is more suited here.

I really hate people that hoard furniture and then expect it to rise in price and never be released again. NO, it's not annoying. It's fair.

Exclusive pet, exclusive furni, limited time, and come back 1 week later and you call it fair?

The furniture fits the gnome pet just as much as it does the leprechaun.

The leprechaun was advertised as a LIMITED edition pet, when it was removed from the cat so was the nest as (any normal person) would expect so why remove it to then bring it back in a week later?

Either take it out or leave it in don't muck about so the value is messed with.

& people who don't mind about room bundles and the decrease of norm prices are just poor people..with hardly any furni in the first place.

Also who said we were annoyed because the price didn't rise? We are annoyed because prices gradually increase through supply and demand & then are dramatically without warning decreased by a stupid and thoughtless action by habbo.

That's really annoying for anyone who deciding to buy some, especially if people bought them at the 20c+ price that they had already reached within a week. Bringing it back so soon is definitely unexpected so you have every right to be annoyed :(.

You're to invested in your habbo furni, its called wanting to make a profit, they make so much off bundles i bet. There isn't some secret vendetta against you and other people who hoard furni despite what you may think

Did I say I thought it was some secret vendetta? Its an obvious and clear path they are following to make money, which I don't blame them for but there is ways to make money without screwing with people who have furni you don't need to be a "hoarder" to be negatively affected by the bundles.

I'm sure they are trying other methods too but if there is a way to make profit they aren't going to stop or ignore it just because people are upset over some furni pricess :S

Habbo's whole business is consumer based so if they upset "a few people" (quite a bit more than a few) they are actually alienating a large proportion of people who contribute to their income so really they should be concerned about people being upset.

Essentially they are annoying people for a short term gain but in the long-term it might not be such a good idea.

they are't alienating people that contribute to their income because you don't contribute, you rely on the furniture market. logical marketing decision is to move attention away from those that get furni by exploiting market trends and towards those that actually want to pay real money.

stop being annoying, it's furniture.

the majority (i'd go as far as saying 90%) aren't the ones who are buying coins directly from habbo so no, they are upsetting people who hoard the furni and nothing more. the people who actuall spend money on habbo weekly/monthly are delighted with this i think. the bundles have made me spend money on habbo :)

Who says I don't buy credits? Just because I have lot's of furniture doesn't mean I don't buy credits.. but by devaluing the furniture that I do have it certainly makes me less likely to buy credits.

Also your missing the bigger point people like "making money" on Habbo so that they can afford more expensive items and the majority of people do this by initially buying credits and then building up what they have through trading, if Habbo make the marketplace and norm prices unstable then everything will be so cheap people won't need to buy credits! the majority of people won't buy the bundles they will use the credits they already have to buy the bundle items cheaply from those who pay cash for it.

& If you find me annoying don't reply to this post because no-one's making you.

I would be delighted to see some sort of evidence of the people who are "delighted" by the bundles because as far as the feedback I have seen on Habbox and on habbo people are unimpressed with the bundles.

How many times have you reviewed something you where happy with? Do you review your toothpaste? Toilet paper etc? No, i'm guessing not. People only tend to post or speak up when they have negative experience with something (or are just generally a moaney person). There is no way they would continue the effort and time in making bundles if they weren't paying off. and you can cut the "in the future" bullcrap because im sure habbo know you're well above the average playing age so you wont be around for much longer (could be wrong lol) so i dont think they care they are making you angry

Bundles were mainly only popular for unique room shapes and badges, sometimes on occasion the furniture. The nests were advertised with a limited edition set meaning people expected them to be removed therefore obvious reason they bought bulk. Staff also said they would be removed to a few users who went to them directly.

I don't get what the argument is here and to the point where people saying they hate bulk buying when they have done it themselves and expect to make profit on Habbo all the time is just hypocritical to come here and argue with a person over that.

Unique room shapes are now obsolete since the BC allows for personal tailoring of room shape. Badges are only of interest to those that use websites for badge hoarding (habboquests, etc) so your information there is slightly skewed. Furniture itself is plentiful, though, and extremely useful for what the purpose of these bundles is - building rooms. idk who said it earlier but someone said that why buy bundles when you can go around and purchase the furniture yourself from those who have spent money... hmm... probably because the bundles are cheap, contain a hell of a lot of furniture, and give additional rewards like badges and unique room shapes. :O

Bundles are working to redistribute wealth throughout the hotel back from those that hoard furniture like they're some kind of habbo investment bankers and then drop it after harassing staff members with questions about what new furni ranges will contain to the... what was the term again? oh yeah, the "poor people" that don't spent their lives in coin shops or being merchants trade city. Habbo isn't about that. it's about being creative, it's about building rooms and making friends.

I'm tired of old gits like you guys trying to make habbo into a bustling marketplace and complaining about every little dip in the market. Stop hoarding furniture for profit, you're clearly not putting that profit to good use and either reinvesting or making ugly rooms.

glad they rereleased the nest, now i can finish the treehouse room im making.

I didn't say that it wasn't pointless I was simply stating that it >>>> WAS <<<< more popular for room shapes. I highly doubt that I'm an /old/ git considering that you're probably way older than me if /rumours/ are true. I have never bought furniture from the shop for profit I only buy what I need or will ever use. At the most I will buy around 15 max.

Can't say I've seen anybody using the room shapes available within the bundles, lol. Complaining about price of furniture you've hoarded on advice from habbo staff because you want profit - that's addressing you and jaiho as on entity btw, since you only seem to post in a couple. You are grumpy old gits regardless of my age :S but if we wanna bring external factors in then I could say that u look like a rodent that u would find on the tracks of a tube, but I won't, cos that's not what this discussion is about.

Furniture hoarders get their comeuppance and everybody else benefits by having access to a nice looking piece of furniture. Win-win!

People have used room shapes the number is probably decreasing and increasing on builder club subscription now the additional feature has arrived. I don't get why you need to address me on furniture prices because I honestly couldn't care about the prices of anything unless I'm going to use it. You complain more than me so I don't get why you're trying to act hard and cool to seem like you're opinion overrules everybody else. You shouldn't bring age into factor if you're never going to inform people of yours to hide your awkward embarrassment. I mean you're playing a game where the staff are younger than you, that's just pretty awkward itself.

I'm addressing you both, like I said, because you are defending her and both appear to hold the view that because the nests were released with the exclusive leprechaun pet that they should have been removed after st. patrick's day. Unfortunately though, this would cause the price to soar (as shown) and people to begin hoarding. It looks like this is something that is being actively avoided by habbo because of the harm it causes for room builders. Release of builder's club allows users to build rooms with furniture that's in the catalogue without restriction of having to be super rich for the best looking furniture. Expect to see more highly coveted furniture lined being released in bundles soon. gf venetian/jungle collections!

only awkward things here are you thinking I'm embarassed about my age, that I'm really some old creep, or that I complain to habbo. I didn't bring age in, I simply called you old gits. There are other things I could've called you but I think a few of them would be filtered!

I'm sure you could post plenty of other insults then again so could I but I'm not as immature as you to try and insult people over an opinion on bundles and furniture prices. Attention seeking lmao... he says posting in a thread crying about nests :P
I WILL KEEP RESPONDING because I want to get my opinion across x
You're right - not everybody will be happy with things that happen in habbo, I just think that those in this thread bashing the rerelease of these nests are not taking other users' situations into account: 1. users may not play habbo 25 hours of the day 8 days a week so weren't available to grab a nest when it was in the catalogue. 2. the nest can be used for all pets, not just gnomes/leprechauns, so why shouldn't it stay? 3. it's useful as more than a nest, so it's going to be even more valuable for room building - my new treehouse room for example! just need some cherry trees and I'm all set.

don't worry, you don't have to reply to this, it'll just be feeding me the attention I desperately crave!

You've said the same thing over and over, you don't need to keep re-voicing it. If LIMITED range furniture should be re-released because it's suitable for other parts of the hotel, then LIMITED rares should be re-released? I mean if somebody isn't on to get a LIMITED leprechaun or the items go to with it and they aren't on to buy a LTD then surely they should re-release them... or do you not agree with that? I guess not :/

Because the nest isn't limited, it's just a new item released because it fits the leprechaun pet.
Aside from private conversations with staff buddies, where was it advertised that leprechauns/nests were limited? do you have any pics/links?

This will be my last post responding to Kyle or his other half because funnily enough you two always seem to pop up together in threads I start.

If you can't get that the nests were released with a limited edition furni then removed I can't help you. I'm not saying they SHOULD have been removed, I'm not saying they SHOULD have stayed, all I'm saying is if they were going to remove them they should have decided on that and stuck to that decision because by removing them and then bringing them out a week later they actually succeeded not so much in hurting people who "hoard" that you hate with a passion because they most likely got them 10.5c per once you take bulk buying into consideration but the poor people who don't play habbo "25 hours of the day 8 days a week" who saw that they were out of the shop and maybe bought on the MP for 25c-30c per what that did was negatively impact the people you claim habbo was trying to help. Sorry I can't continue discussing this topic with you because it's literally like getting blood from a stone.

& btw on the subject of BC no-one will take you seriously if you make a room exclusively with BC furniture, I mean come on be serious. Also the idea that people will continue to subscribe to BC every month to keep these frankly fundamentally poor rooms is ludicrous once the novelty of it wears off less and less people will subscribe & certainly less people will renew their subscriptions but as the saying goes time will tell and I'll certainly be around for that because I'm not that bloody old lmao certainly not as old as Kyle by the sounds of it.

One last thing I'm glad you think my rooms are ugly, individual perception is a beautiful thing & I'm so glad I don't share the same opinion as someone who seems to be such a irritating individual.
