Hey,

I think it's really irritating you get a warning/infraction or any form of message from moderation about "avoiding the filter" when I would have to avoid it to be guilty of it?

if I say sh..it i'm avoiding the filter.
If say a word that isn't in the filter, like cocksmear or ****face then it's unfair I'm getting infracted for avoiding the filter when it's not in the filter. Maybe you should create a new warning like "being obscene" instead of looking like a true idiot? semantics matter, to me anyway.

Personally I would have just edited the post, but not have issued a warning until the filter was updated. If people posted it multiple times, then I would probably warn for an inappropriate post, but surely the filter has to be working decently for avoiding the filter to apply - just my opinion.

Filter would never pick up fxck, but the rule about suggesting swearwords (Like we're not allowed to say f**k or **) would pick that up as a rulebreak.

lazy way 1
iframe your page

lazy way 2
ajax pull your page (im sure thats the right slang)?

normal way
add your content and away you go

will work on mobiles afaik.

He never said he wasn't going to do it, he was just unaware how to do it or if he had access to it in the first place. It's more of an issue being confused rather than him telling a lie to everyone.

It seems vBulletin didn't make the FAQ work on their mobile skin which is where the forum rules are located.

Let someone do an overhaul of this skin, please.

Also, changing a few more username to musername would be useful (PMs, visitor messages)

Because everyone starts from somewhere - He may not know vBulletin inside out but doesn't mean he can't learn. He can easily speak to two previous Forum Managers (Chris and myself) if he needs any assistance with the AdminCP.

He does go off Habbo sometimes, only for around 20 minutes for a quick session with a sheep which is why I'm getting so scared now seems as I'm a 'sheep', he might be coming round my house looking for his 20 minute session!
