Amazing! Great news for all them sleepy people out there!

For a quick boost of alertness, experts say a 10-to-20-minute power nap is adequate for getting back to work in a pinch. For cognitive memory processing, however, a 60-minute nap may do more good, Dr. Mednick said. Including slow-wave sleep helps with remembering facts, places and faces. The downside: some grogginess upon waking. Finally, the 90-minute nap will likely involve a full cycle of sleep, which aids creativity and emotional and procedural memory, such as learning how to ride a bike. Waking up after REM sleep usually means a minimal amount of sleep inertia, Dr. Mednick said. - See more at: http://beyondblindfold.com/how-long-to-nap-for-the-biggest-brain-benefits.html#sthash.qEmz2jfR.r2bUqeYx.dpuf

i attempt to nap longer than the nap is so the naps i ever take are pointless cos i waste energy turning a nap into the time i wasted attempting to nap

If I sleep during the day I just wake up feeling like crap and in a grumpy mood.

I always say that I need a nap but never find time. I'm always tired :P

From what I remember from past napping experiences though, you wake up feeling hot (from sleeping in clothes), groggy and a bit sick :P So, probably not worth it.

Not kidding - a couple of months ago I slept continuously for something like 24 hours solid.

My naps are generally 4-8hours long
but that'd be longer than my 'sleep' during night time hours
so i should probably class that as my actual sleep, although it is in the day time
gahhhh
