Yup. HK have closed for redevelopment but why? They've been doing the version 2 behind the scenes for many months now. On the forum, it was announced (which if you have 10 posts in a day, you're on the top poster list) that the site would be closed until further notice while they rebrand it. It seems they tried to relaunch something on the 24th February but it didn't work account (according to their Twitter Feed).
This is a risky move. The site is dead as it is and they could potentially lose more members by closing the site.
HabboWho? Never even heard of them lol

Definitely a risky move.. imagine if Habbox closed until v7 was finished. Good luck to them though!

They could have done a separate area for them to work on the new version and keep the current version up and running. Would make sense by doing that and then you wouldn't annoy or lose any of your existing community.
But good luck to them either way!

Hello,
We are doing many other changes and not just v2. We feel the site has became old and dated and wanted to revamp and re brand the website to clear the dust. We was to give our v2 project our 100% attention without having to deal with the day to day bases of dealing with our departments. Our v2 project has been a very large redevelopment project for us to move away from our version 1 that launched nearly 1 year go, alongside that we wanted to give everybody a break and when we reopen it will hopefully be like stepping into a new and fresh site.
