First memory of Habbox?

My first memory is probably Habboxlive with the gold/blue layout from 2006 with DJ Jess. I didn't really understand the forum till I became staff.

Umm I Just remember HxSS Last year and everyone going mad in the rooms screaming what team they wanted to win, & in particular one event that was sectioned into the 4 team colours with teleports, and you had to go through your teams tele & race in a group or something :P

I've not been here long but my first memory of habbox is when the royal wedding was on and I remember talking to Oli about it all. That was around the time of HxEE so the whole tournament as well really.

Well, on the client it would have been simply hearing that Habbox did rare values and finding it from there - signed up to the forum to enter a 'Draw a bus' competition - didn't win, cause some guy did some animated bus which sucked.

Seeing people spamming Hallway One with something to do with Habbox and wondering what it is. Before that I saw either mizki or Springmoon talking about it and thinking it must be good but forgot about it when I went into another room. It was Mizki that really got me interested in Habbox as her radio shows were legendary and better than anything Radio 1 could dish out at the time :P

I originally heard there was a competition on the radio with DJ Melissa, but I couldn't find it on Habbo as her name was Melsia. Then I started going to the HxEE in 2009 and ended up coming 2nd overall and won a load of stuff following Urnuph and Jhazmine18 came 3rd. I won VIP so I joined and then started posting. I then started applying for jobs :D.

Well seeing as I've been here for ten years now, it's hard to remember the exact moment I stumbled upon Habbox. It's hard to pinpoint the first memory, because almost all of my memories from Habbo are from Habbox, because I spent so much time here.

I started off just using the rare values portion of the site, like everyone did back in the day. One day I somehow happened upon the Radio, though, and I remember my mind being blown.

I heard DJ Mizki talking on air, and I thought it was so cool because she sounded so professional. It was cool that there was an actual radio station with hundreds of Habbos tuned in, and that you could send your name via the request line, and they would read your request or message. So very cool.

I started tuning in to all of the DJs. Glitz, ALL4TECHNICS, Zoltar, bigbutsound, Lincognito (used to do an Oldies but Goldies show), Cypher- (although I became a DJ before him, he was still one of my favorites to tune in to as soon as he came in to the picture). I absolutely loved HabboxRadio. I remember being asked to be part of the HabboxRadio Management team back in 2005, I was so happy that I got to be a part of something so special.

I also won a Throne from Mizki while she was DJing. Oh man, those were the best days.

It's funny because some songs specifically remind me of HabboxRadio when I hear them. The song that got the most airtime back then was "These Words" by Natasha Bedingfield. Alllll the DJs had to play it because everyone would request it. There was a song by "DJ Otzi" that was played all of the time. Also "Dance, Dance" by Fall Out Boy, "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" by P!ATD. Hahaha all of these songs remind me of Habbox. A lot of them I had never heard before HabboxRadio.

I'll stop now, because I have ten years worth of memories here I could type up. Lots of good memories at Habbox. I'm so happy that it's still around and that I was able to return this year and DJ like the good ol' days. I had such a blast this year!

From then on I listened to the radio and loved listening to DJ Jess, I remember her giveaways :) I signed up to the forum but didn't use it much and here I am now haha

I remember Hallway 1 being invaded by loads of people during a Habbox event, or they just had Habbox in their description and they were hanging around as a large group. After that I noticed the name was being used in a lot of guest rooms and went from there. I didn't join the forum until thybag/Mentor mentioned it.

I made an alteration of a computer and desk many years ago and noticed last year Habbo was using in one of their images. I will have to find that one day.
